Simple solution: ALL bottles as PBA reusable e.g. Tritan: easy to break dishwasher-safe heat-resistant tasteless Together with high stability, very good formability and other positive product properties, TritanTM is a modern and interesting material for many items and will certainly be used even more in the future, as it is much more sustainable than conventional disposable plastic. The plastic is currently approved in the EU as well as the USA, Canada, Japan and China.

Is glass really better than PET? On the one hand, glass is heavier and therefore less suitable for transportation, also because glass can be damaged more quickly than a PET bottle if it falls to the ground. On the other hand, we read that PET releases harmful substances into the liquid it contains after a certain time and thus enters the human body where they do not belong. I consider the health aspect to be more important than the disadvantages for transportation. Back to the good old glass bottle - a clear yes for me.
I don't know why you have to buy bottled water. Whether PET or glass bottles, it's unnecessary. We have clean drinking water from the tap. You don't have to buy or carry anything - it's the most ecological option.
