small correction because of the photo. Unfortunately, Migros organic garlic is only available in packs of 3. Usually packed in foil.
At both Migros and Coop, the garlic is unfortunately often rotten! And buying 3 rotten garlics is and was too much for me. That's why I now only buy individual garlic chunks, unfortunately not organic, but without foil and without a 3-pack. I can look at each one individually and avoid the rotten ones.
@deactivated user One more comment. I can buy the Coop organic bananas individually! At Migros I always have to buy 4, 5 or even 6 in a bunch. The photo is unfortunately misleading. This is my experience when I see and buy them in Migros. Therefore additional points deducted for Migros.

Appenzeller Quöllfrisch from Migros and Coop in comparison: (10 x 33cl one-way bottles)
@deactivated user This comparison is pointless, Migros is not allowed to sell alcohol in its outlets bearing the Migros name. So you won't find this product in a Migros branch anyway.
According to the statutes of the FMC:
Art. 16 Obligations g) to refrain from selling alcoholic beverages and tobacco products in their sales outlets bearing the Migros name;
In addition, the Locher brewery in Appenzell not only makes Appenzeller beer, it also brews organic beer which is sold under Coop's own brand. That's why Coop has the better purchasing conditions here.
I would really only compare a few relevant and selected products here, which catch your eye when you go shopping every day. Where a difference does not seem plausible to the consumer. If hundreds of less relevant products are listed here, this thread loses its meaning and impact.

"This comparison is pointless, Migros is not allowed to sell alcohol in its sales outlets that bear the Migros name."
- everywhere where only the orange M-Migrologo/Name appears = no alcohol - if another name appears as the main name/logo, such as LeShop or Migrolino etc. = alcohol unfortunately...
In an interview with the newspaper "Der Sonntag", Migros Chairman of the Board Claude Hauser pleads for the sale of alcohol in Migros stores. In doing so, Hauser is breaking what is probably the biggest taboo of the company founded by Gottlieb "Dutti" Duttweiler. Migros already sells alcohol through various channels - from Migrolino and Globus to Denner and LeShop. "This is the compromise we have found:There is no alcohol in the orange M," says the Frenchman in "Sonntag", who is stepping down from the chairmanship at the end of June for reasons of age after two terms in office. Gottlieb Duttweiler asked the Migros Cooperative people in a referendum: Should Migros sell tobacco and alcohol? The answer was no. Over time, Migros acquired new companies that sold alcohol and tobacco. At the behest of the administration, the FMC Assembly of Delegates amended the Articles of Association without consulting the supreme body that issued the ban. From then on, Art. 3 c) .... was included in the Articles of Association, deliberately prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products in M outlets; (1) But is that enough to sell alcohol and tobacco in various Migros Group companies? What is an M outlet? This term is not explained in the FMC Articles of Association. Is it still appropriate not to sell alcohol and tobacco products and to leave the profits to irresponsible third parties? Source: http://www.sorgim.ch/forum-backup/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=196

VS
Migros; Price/100g: -.90, Origin: Turkey, Ingredients: Sultanas, sunflower oil, cottonseed oil, rapeseed oil. Label: Migros Bio (= EU organic!)
Apparently it is still possible for Coop to produce without cottonseed oil. What's more, the organic raisins at Coop cost even less and are Bud certified! Coop is "cheaper" than Migros in many areas! Above all, the quality at Coop is often much better, as you can see from these sultanas.
