Dear Migros, please make the Migros app available for customers with Windows Phones (Nokia Lumia...). The spread of Windows Phones is increasing rapidly. Best regards, a very happy Windows Phone user who hasn't regretted switching from iPhone for a second, except for the missing Migros app.
Meanwhile, I find the conversation amusing. The little piglet is not a DAU. It understands the odd technical context. It has already reached the level of a PCTipp reader. After all, it has the achievement of having connected a 5.25 FDD to a PC with an original 3.5 FDD. This requires the right cable and the right connectors. Or a lot of patience when soldering :-) As you know, the cable itself is a 34-pin ribbon cable - for both FDD types... 3.5 FDD controllers were backwards compatible with 5.25 FDDs. This eliminates the need to modify the bus system... But I'm sure that's a small, piggy oversight in the details. Like VMware was spelled wrong several times. With the same level of skill, I might manage, on a rainy day, to write a new signature to detect swine flu on the Migros web server. That way, the young pig could be safely transferred to quarantine without being completely ostracized by the blacklist.
There are people who have other priorities/skills and, if they absolutely need such installations, are better off seeking out specialists - or leaving it alone ... and asking the manufacturers (such as Migros etc.) for apps that fit their operating system
Bingo! For example, hardly anyone without a medical degree would perform an appendectomy on themselves or anyone else instead of entrusting themselves to a specialist. There is no such thing as a person who can do everything. (maybe a lot of everything but nothing really;-)
Oh yes, in order not to burden poor Migros too much, we could all grow our own staple foods in our gardens, balconies or on the windowsill, it's not that difficult and certainly not expensive;-)
Best wishes Lydia Sonja

Hello
Oh MM, the very old floppy drives required a separate controller with ISA bus (8 bit), which had to be installed in the corresponding slot on a board at that time. Try getting an ISA card to run in a modern PC. At least you would have the advantage of knowing that it is possible. I didn't have that, which didn't stop me from trying.
Look, the Baltic luminatitsch doesn't even dare to try because there can't be anything he doesn't know. What the farmer doesn't know, he won't eat. :-) People like you buy an exotic like a WP because it's the most convenient way and therefore their only way to stand out from the crowd. At best because they don't know anything other than Micro$oft and therefore only trust it. There is more than Windoof in the world, even if you are afraid of it. It would do you good to read, think outside the box and try something, but that will be too exhausting for you. This makes you a good fit for the zero-buck generation, who have become strangers to their own achievements and always blame others for everything. If you don't know something, then it simply doesn't exist and everything that speaks against it must be wrong. Otherwise you would have to make an effort, which is out of the question. People who can't be bothered to do anything and are afraid of everything always whine in a completely undignified manner, in this case because of the lack of a Migros app. They feel unfairly treated, downright enslaved, forced to use Android and patronized. They point plaintively to other, much kinder companies that have a WP app, while they berate everyone whose happiness in life is not dependent on an app, or know how to help themselves. :-)
It is wonderfully amusing and at the same time frightening that such types were already described centuries ago by Immanuel Kant: Laziness and cowardice are the reasons why such a large proportion of people, after nature has long since absolved them of external guidance, nevertheless like to remain immature throughout their lives and why it becomes so easy for others to proclaim themselves their guardians. It is so comfortable to be immature.
Even compulsory education, which has now been established across the board, is unable to persuade such people to use their own brains and achieve something themselves. Honestly, you can only laugh at such sad characters who, for the sake of their own convenience, have pushed themselves to the bottom of the food chain.
@deactivated user I have a question for you that I'm sure you can answer truthfully: Is it a fact that you participated in the discussions under the name "Brainstuff" until November 2015? After "Braistuff" was blocked, "Migi Ferkel" suddenly became active. Since both participants are roughly the same blasphemers and do the same harassment to the other participants, the whole thing seems kind of weird to me. It would be nice if you could be truthful about this.

Hello B12
Why don't you catch the piglet? But you have to get up, move around, be fit and remove the electronic board from your field of vision. Or do you need an app to get up, move and catch it? :-) But you'll definitely need an app to light firewood, because it won't work with a single match and no fire accelerant. :-) Today there are almost only sissy barbecues with a gas bottle or power cable.
Esu, why don't you ask the moderators who will deny this based on the IP and registration. You wouldn't believe me anyway. But you can give me your address and we'll sort it out eye to eye. :-) Have you got a nice dog, I wonder what it tastes like?
Greetings from the Migi piglet who is already looking forward to the next luau
Sali esue, as I can see from the latest comment from Migi-Ferkel (which I am ignoring), you will never get a decent answer! As I don't have a smart phone, I don't really read this thread, but I did have a look at your comment, which I saw on the home page. As for your question, I think the piglet lacks the courage and honesty to answer properly. At least it has more decency than the aforementioned Deactyvated user.
I would like to return to the original question (Migros app for WP). I think that although the technical "exchange of blows" is interesting and exciting, it is only remotely related to the original question or request.
Let me make it clear:
There are people who want or need to use a WP (as pointed out in one of my earlier posts).
I always find it legitimate to look for and discuss alternatives - as long as it is about the issue or possible solutions.
My conclusion from the technical discussion posted here: Unfortunately, I don't see a practicable way for the "normal" user to install apps from third-party systems on a WP. It may be possible in principle. But then very probably only for technology enthusiasts who install a VM on the WP, then put another OS on it and install the desired non-WP app. And then the whole WP should still run at a reasonable speed (so that you don't generate an endless queue at the checkout when paying)
There is an alternative, but without a smartphone: pay by credit card (with NFC), and with one that gives you a kickback (e.g. up to 0.75% of the purchase amount in Switzerland for PF). So you have a little financial damage from being excluded from the app with Cumulus and offers. (Migros then doesn't finance a WP app but "donates" to the credit card organization, which gives a portion back to me as a user).
And continue to ask for a WP app from time to time. In my opinion, you should always be allowed to ask - but you also have to accept the answer ... and then ask again later ...
For my part, I'm closing the topic for the time being, but I'm still curious to see if anything changes regarding the WP app.
