1. the best way to test this is to briefly log out of Migipedia and then log back in via M-Connect. If that works. The link also works. Or as an alternative: Open your profile on Migipedia, go to edit and scroll down. There you have the option of connecting to Facebook and connecting to M-Connect (blue and orange buttons respectively). When the orange button is gone, you are connected to M-Connect.
2. a question that I need to clarify myself first.
3. if you go to https://m-connect.ch/ and log in with your M-Connect login, there is a "Profile" category on the right. You can make your personal settings there.

First of all: I don't have the problems that others describe here. Nevertheless, I have a question regarding M-connect, future Migipedia and user names.
But first things first:
Four years ago, I signed up for Migipedia with the username "Mathomas". M-connect didn't exist back then. When I noticed it at www.cumulus.ch, I registered relatively quickly for this new service (which was only available at Cumulus at the time) - with a different user name. At some point I noticed that Migipedia was also displaying the login via M-connect and I connected my M-connect account with Migipedia. This went absolutely smoothly and since then I have been logging in to Migipedia via M-connect (although this has become a bit tedious recently).
But now I see here in the forum and under Jeanette's article(http://www.migipedia.ch/de/Einfa...) that some users have to change their user name in Migipedia when they re-register with M-connect: Apparently, that username you choose at M-connect is also adopted for Migipedia.
So what will happen to us, who have been using M-connect and Migipedia for a long time and use two different usernames, when the new Migipedia is launched and the Migipedia login is no longer available?
► Will the existing Migipedia user name remain?
► Will the M-connect username suddenly be displayed in Migipedia comments?
► Do I have to change my M-connect username to "Mathomas" if I want my Migipedia username to remain the same?
I would be very grateful if you could clarify this soon.

You've got it exactly right. When the new Migipedia is live, you can only log in with your M-Connect login. Your M-Connect username will then also be displayed on Migipedia. It would therefore be a good idea to change your M-Connect username to "Mathomas".
