Hello moz,
as far as I know, M-connect is a Migros "registration program". I don't know exactly what it is called.
But with M-connect you don't need any other codes or usernames from other social network sites (e.g. facebook) for all Migros sites!
So once with M-connect you can click into all Migros websites with these details!
I hope I have been able to help you to some extent. Migros will certainly give you more information.
Greetings from the Imperator

Imperator's description is exactly right.
You can find the official and somewhat more detailed "What is M-Connect" text here:

Elsewhere(http://goo.gl/DTs0FN [Aproz Thé Grüntee-Minze]) Daniel_Migros writes that it is necessary to adapt the user names for the further development of Migipedia. I assume that sooner or later it will no longer be possible to log in with your own Migipedia login.

I'm posting my concern in this thread, because the discussion doesn't really fit under the link from Mathomas (see above) under the topic "Green tea mint".
"! This username is already registered on Migipedia as well as on M-connect. If you already have a Migipedia login, log in with the button in the page header."
I get this message when I want to register for M-Connect with dani_zueri! But I am not yet registered with M-C., otherwise I would not get the message that I have to register with M-C. when I log in so far. "HIIIIILLFFEEEEEE!!!" I don't know what to do? ?
Greetings, dani ;-)

The system apparently tells you that your username has been registered for both Migipedia and M-Connect. In my opinion, this means that by registering on Migipedia, the username has also been reserved for you on M-Connect.
So here's a perhaps stupid question: Have you ever tried to log in to M-Connect with the same access data that you use to log in to Migipedia?
If it works, you only need to connect Migipedia to your M-Connect account (and add/verify your data if necessary).

Hello Dani Zueri
Thanks for your message. Please let me know if the login doesn't work with your current Migipedia access data. Then I'll ask again internally.
Best regards
Tanja, Migipedia team
@ Mathomas,
I tried that, but it didn't work! I then requested a new password, but got none!
Logged on to Migipedia again and got the message again:
"Attention! Your user profile is not yet connected to M-Connect. From now on, you will only be able to log in to Migipedia via M-Connect. Please connect your account to M-Connect. Connect now"
Then I want to connect, but I can't because I get the message I posted above! :-(
@ Tanja, it doesn't work. *shoulder shrug*
Greetings from dani =)

That is indeed strange. And you really don't have an M-Connect account at all? That means you don't have a Cumulus card either - or at least you don't use the online data there? Because you can't get into www.mcumulus.ch without M-Connect. At least I can't...
No, I registered with le-shop years ago, but certainly not with dani zueri.
"This username is already registered on Migipedia. If you already have a Migipedia login, log in using the button in the page header."
Now I get this message when I try to register. It doesn't say anything about M-c. If I enter zueri_dani, it doesn't grumble, then it would work.
Wait for Tanja :-)

As far as I know, LeShop is not connected to M-Connect.
If you had used Cumulus online, you could have tried the other way round: log in to m-cumulus.ch and connect Migia there with "Connect service".
But it's best to wait for an answer from Tanja. I assume she will give you an e-mail address...
Greetings
