I wanted to replenish my supply of M-Classic Choco Drink last week and lo and behold, the half-liter pack is no longer available.
At first I thought there was a supply shortage.
But no, they are no longer being supplied.
Why are the products that are running out always thrown off the shelves?

The plan is that the two new drinks will also be offered uncooled. There may still be different placements depending on the store. However, we are endeavoring to achieve a uniform uncooled placement similar to the M-Classic Choco 0.5l.

I don't think the two drinks are bad, but I think it's a shame that the drink is also available in the 5dl packaging at discount stores.
The price is about 85 centimes for 5 dl
the Seehund drinks are 1.20 for 33cl
which is massively more expensive...

The decision to remove the 0.5-liter M-Classic Choco drink from the range in favor of the new two bottles was the wrong decision of the year!
The new vanilla tea drink tastes extremely artificial and I don't want to pay the price for the chocolate drink anyway because it is simply far too high for so little content.
Conclusion: I won't be buying the new bottles or the M-Classic Choco drink because I don't like the remaining pack sizes.
Unfortunately, Migros has had a system in place for some years now (and I think even more so recently) of throwing out cheap, tried-and-tested products and replacing them with (sometimes much) more expensive, often branded items. The reasons given for this are "innovation" and "flexibility" as well as the running gag of lack of space. A rogue who thinks evil of it. For example, a few days ago I was recommended the Tradition product, which is at least three times as expensive, as a replacement for the M-Classic spinach noodles that are no longer produced. Kind of reminds me of: "If the people have no more bread, let them eat cake!"
Uh, am I in the woods now. If I/we want 1/2 liter of Choco Drink, then I don't want anything else!!!
I can still get it at Lidl. So that means another customer less for Migros.

Of course we understand your anger about a favorite product that is no longer available.
The new drinks are packaged differently and have a different recipe than the 0.5 liter Choco Drink. The price can therefore not be compared 1:1. However, we respect your opinion that the price is too high.
We can tell you the following about the taste. The aim is to get as close as possible to the taste of the ice cream. However, based on the feedback and customer demand so far, we are convinced that we have created added value in our range of mixed milk drinks with this new concept.

I fully understand, but I don't understand why they are introducing 6x250ml chocolate drinks if the space is not endless... but because 500ml is not listed.
I'm also sure that the sales figures for the chocolate 500ml were far higher than for the ice cream drink

I see it the same way as @EEnergy. And I believe that the two ice cream drinks will only be a short-lived phenomenon. Will they bring back the M-Classic Choco drink in the 5-dl version?

They should have thrown out the Heidi drink or added it to the list.
