Hello Migros team, I would like to find out how far the almond milk process has progressed. I and the community have been waiting soooo long... Now another year has passed and it's still not on the shelves :-(

Hello Strieli
I'll ask the people responsible for the product range what the current status is. However, I haven't heard anything about this topic recently - I'm afraid that no news is not necessarily good news in this context.
But I'll get back to you as soon as I can give you a definitive answer to your question.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards
Tanja

Hello Strieli
According to the product range manager, there are currently no plans to introduce almond milk. Unfortunately, demand is still relatively low. This is why other products within the range have been given higher priority.
I'm sorry to disappoint you.
Kind regards
Tanja
Thanks for the clarification. It's a real shame that Migros is not as innovative as usual :-(. Well, then I'll get this again in the neighboring country.
Then you shouldn't be surprised when people go shopping in Germany. Not that there is soy milk in all variations, no, there are also different hazelnut milks, almond milks, rice milks...
It's amazing how little innovative Migros is when it comes to dairy products...
I went shopping at Coop today (because of the vegan cheese) and what do you see??? Coop Naturaline almond milk!!!!!!!
Now it's official:
Migros has overslept everything that is currently trending...
I recently bought milk at the Coop for a change. I was amazed at how many milk alternatives they had on the shelves. Although the store is no bigger than the Migros in the square.
Does Migros really have so few "organic", "vegi" or "vegan" customers? The desire for almond milk has been expressed several times on Migipedia.
Coop has now introduced a "pure" almond drink. I hope that Migros will comply with our wishes, as expressed in this forum, and include such a product in its range?
Here is an excerpt from a Tagi article:
http://www.tagesanzeiger.ch/wirtschaft/Milch-die-an-den-Baeumen-waechst/story/18778416
Coop must react to the high demand
The demand is now so great that even the major distributors have to react. Neither Migros nor Coop currently stock pure almond milk; both only offer a rice drink with almonds. However, this is likely to change soon due to the rapidly growing market for milk substitutes. At Coop, sales of rice drinks are growing at a double-digit percentage rate, and the top seller in the entire milk substitute category is the almond mix drink. This is why the retailer is now adapting to customer wishes: "We are about to introduce almond milk," says spokeswoman Denise Stadler.
According to Coop, this sudden customer preference is being driven by the general increase in demand for lactose-free and vegan products. This can also be seen at Egli, says sales manager Fabienne Marty: "Customers are becoming more critical in their purchasing behavior." Healthy eating is becoming more important, partly because more intolerances are occurring and partly because customers are increasingly choosing not to eat certain foods.

Hello @Loxiran
Thank you for your message! Almond milk has been an issue for a while now. I will take this opportunity to raise it again with the people responsible for the product range. :)
Best wishes and have a good start to the weekend

? the new boom in the USA? I would say for a long time, the Tagesanzeiger probably got something mixed up. Almondmolk from Silk has been around for a long time, certainly since 2008, because that's when I got to know all the variations. It's a shame that Migros doesn't focus on innovation.
Thank you very much.
At a price of 2.95 (made by Emmi)
that is a very fair price!
The Alpro Soya milk costs about 2.80€
