Hello everyone, let's change the subject: painkillers. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who have problems swallowing pills. Yes, even as an adult I still have this problem. Whether "hidden" in food or other methods - nothing works. I've been training my whole life, so to speak. Is anyone else here like this? What alternatives do you use? I feel a bit alone on this topic.
I am a high-risk person and currently prefer not to go to pharmacies due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I therefore currently buy my medication online, otherwise I usually buy it locally at Coopvitality. I only buy homemade ointments from my trusted pharmacy, which I currently stock up on so that I don't have to go there often.

Unfortunately your question has nothing to do with Migros and then it will probably be deleted... Lots of liquid and then swallow with it. Don't think about the tablets! Some can be divided into smaller pieces... Honestly, headache tablets aren't so big that they cause so many problems? Then I wonder how you swallow antibiotics? They can be MEGA big! Tip: Headache medication is available in Dafalgan sachets that you put in your mouth and powder well. Or dissolve and then drink. Ask the pharmacy and your doctor.
Hello, I also know some people who have the same problem. Sometimes you can crush the tablets and take them as a kind of powder. In the case of capsules, most of my friends put it in food, but something that you don't have to chew much. So rather in mashed potatoes than in bread. This has helped many people. Once you move the tablet back and forth in your mouth and try to straighten it out, it won't work and it's better to try again with the next bite. Best regards :)

I had the same problem for a long time. Can't you crumble the tablets and then swallow them? After all, the effect is the same, isn't it? It doesn't matter whether they dissolve in the stomach first or arrive already dissolved, does it? In any case, swallowing lots of water doesn't help. The knowledge that the tablet is there usually ensures that nothing goes down and your throat literally constricts.
