Hello everyone
Thank you very much for your detailed feedback on our new Migipedia. I am very glad that you are communicating so openly here about what you like and what you are still struggling with, or what you don't like and what doesn't work as you would like it to. Your opinion is very important to us because it simply won't work without you.
As far as the activity stream is concerned, there are already plans to expand it further. I am now looking again with the team to see what exactly is planned and whether we already know when this can be implemented. I've only just realized how important this stream is/was in the last few days and I hope, along with you, that we can adapt it again to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, I can't promise you anything as I'm not familiar enough with the technical conditions.
@maripac I still have a question about this point of yours: "I'm having trouble with "Reply" and "Add a comment" so far (but maybe just because I haven't understood it yet). Since replies often refer to a specific post, it was great in the previous Migipedia to be able to place the "Reply" directly under the post in question. The indented "Answers" appearing on a white background were easy to distinguish from the other comments - a differentiation that I now really miss."
Does this mainly concern the product comments or which area do you mean? Unless my memory fails me completely, it was already the case in the forum before that the individual posts of the users were displayed one below the other without a special indentation, wasn't it?
Thanks again for your open feedback!
Best regards
Tanja

Hello Luna_L
I support your input below - I feel the same way. Sometimes I would also like to refer directly to several answers, but I can't remember everything that has been written. That's one of the reasons why you'll find 2-3 messages from me here and "my head" appears unnecessarily often ;-).
I'll ask the technical department if they can do something for us - I suppose it's not a very high priority at the moment - but we could make the change at a later date, don't you think? ;-).
Regarding the HTML error message: Is it possible that you write the text in Word or another text editor and then copy it over into the reply field? I could imagine that this triggers the error (Word sometimes adds information to the text that we do not see, but which is nevertheless stored). If this is not the case, I will pass this problem on immediately.
Best regards
Tanja
"What else did I want to write hmmm.... Ah yes exactly; I find it a pity that when I write a reply here I can't see all the other previous texts (of other users) so that I could refer specifically to their text, because although I (in my opinion) have a very good memory and can remember a lot, I still found it practical to scroll up or down quickly and read what Maripac, for example, has written there. It would be good if that worked again"

Hello Indios,
I'm afraid it's not just you ? ?

@Luna_L and here is the next answer to one of your feedbacks:
Regarding the theme options: This function works for me, so I would be happy if you could tell me briefly which browser you are working with when the error occurs (or maybe even mobile?).
Does this happen in several forums or only here in "Praise and criticism"?
Thanks for adding the info on this.
@Frederica I have received an answer regarding the display of replies to product comments in the activity stream: This is actually not (yet) working at the moment. So far, it was not planned for replies to comments to appear there. However, we are now considering changing this. As soon as there is news in this area, we will get back to you.
Best regards

Hello @indios and @deactivated user
Thank you for your messages. Apart from the activity stream, do you have any specific input on what is bothering you or can I help you find your way around better? I'm happy to support you and, together with the team, I'll do everything I can to make you feel at home here on the new Migipedia and help you find your way around.
Best regards
Tanja
Hello Tanja,
In my 1-page problem description, I also described the log-in log-out logic, as the automatic unwanted log-out is annoying.
I have now been able to recreate this: Logged in, I fed the search field with "MEXICO", because I want to describe the thon salad, and clicked on search.
Two products were found but I was logged out.
I will send you an e-mail with the screenshots!
Greetings
Istanbul
Hello Tanja to your first answer yes yes clearly that does not hurry so main thing it works then sometime again ?
And to the second it only happens to me when I work with the Internet Explorer (no matter on which page) on Safari it works best with theme options
As for the error message, no, I always write the texts directly into the reply field and don't copy anything over to see if it's just explorer or if I'm here (I'm on Safari) too!
Thank you thank you thank you for your always endeavored quick answers?
Greetings Luna
@FredericaSofor me the page just disappears when I enter something in the search field and then reappears after 10 - 30 seconds, depending on the situation, but I'm still logged in... That's pretty annoying too?
Wohooo coool I found out that Migipedia runs much better on Safari than on explorer. When I mention someone on explorer, I'm not given a choice and sometimes the person isn't highlighted in orange; why is a mystery to me... But when I write on Safari (but only on laptop, mobile ->iPhone also not) e.g. when I start with the letter 'I' it automatically brings me all users starting with 'I' and I can choose who I want to name? .
Oh dear and me again, if I hadn't kept forgetting what else I wanted to ask?
@Tanja_Migros
Why can't you edit your answers here in this forum? that would shorten my post count a lot if I think of something a few seconds after I've written something or pressed send!
@Luna_L: Many thanks for your additional points - I can only agree with both (I don't have the mobile version):
It's a pity that the "new posts" are no longer visible on the right and I too miss the view of previous writers' posts relevant to the topic when writing. Writing - and in my opinion also reading/following - posts and "replies" has unfortunately become much more complicated.
