Pretzel rolls

Laugenbrötlis

Since the normal long pretzel rolls have been removed from the range and only the unwanted balls are still available (they should only be there during the European Championships), demand for the pretzel sandwiches has risen sharply.
Unfortunately, Migros 9500 Wil is unable to order more of these. By 9.30 a.m. on Saturday, the rack is already empty. Why can't the store finally manage to order more of these (I've already complained several times), as the demand is simply very high?
So finally give us back the normal bread rolls or order more pretzel sandwiches!

Hello@indios

Thank you for your feedback. I'll pass your input on to the branch in Wil.

Best regards, Tabi

Thank you! But they will probably come up with another lame excuse or justification.

Hello@indios

I have forwarded your request to our specialist department and they have already contacted the store staff. I am convinced that you will find enough pretzel sandwiches in future. Best regards, Tabi

Thank you, I'm really looking forward to that. Of course, I would much prefer it if the normal pretzel rolls came back.

Unfortunately, every Saturday there is a battle for the pretzel (Sils) sandwiches. It often happens that there are none at all in the rack, and that at 10.00 am.
I urge you once again to tell Migros Wil that more of these sandwiches need to be ordered. When I tell the staff, I always get snippy answers from the bread department.
Thank you for forwarding the request to 9500 again.

Hello @indios

thank you for your message about theLaugenbrötli shopping experience in Wil. Shopping should not become a combat sport, no. I am happy to forward this message to the cooperative so that they can review this issue with Migros in Wil and take action.

Have a nice weekend.

Kind regards

Marina

Thank you very much!

The same problem again this morning: it wasn't even 10:00 yet, and there was only 1 pack left.
Please pass on the request (again).
The staff just said I would have to pre-order. But hello, if I have to pre-order everything I want to post, what kind of store is this and what kind of dismissive answers do the staff give me?

We have the same problem in Gümligen with the original spelt bread. Since the fall, I have been pointing out to the staff almost every week that the bread is either missing completely, is sold out before noon or I (also) get the last one before noon. Today, after four weeks, I was finally able to get hold of one - and it was the last one again. Answer from the staff: It's a difficult bread, either there's not enough or you have to throw it away in the evening. Unimaginable for me and therefore a cheap excuse if I either have to do without it permanently or don't even get the last loaf halfway through the opening time. They are obviously either unwilling or unable to respond to customer demand. They'd rather fill the store to the ceiling with the same boring, light-colored baked breads that are already rubbery after a few hours because they're wrapped up warm and sweating away in the bag (that's what the customer wants!). And the organic Sonnenhof bread has also been taken away from us...

There is perhaps an explanation for the original spelt bread: in the 2015/2016 harvest years, the yield was so low that emergency measures were declared and imports were allowed to be used. It was not until 2017 that the demand gap was closed again and the emergency measures have been discontinued since the beginning of 2018.(https://www.urdinkel.ch/de/konsument/aktuell)

Migros probably introduced a strict quantity limit, but this should now be lifted.
At least I envy you and the Zurich stores for the original spelt bread - it's only available from you!
