Dear Migros What has happened to the coconut almond puree from Alnatura? I've been to 5 stores and it's nowhere to be found. I'm heartbroken and am already suffering from withdrawal symptoms. It tastes like the filling of Raffaello balls, only much better! Please don't remove this explosion of flavor from your range!!! Kind regards Supernovapluto

Hello Supernovapluto, I would have liked to have given you other news, but unfortunately we have actually removed Alnatura's coconut and almond puree from our range without replacing it. As demand is too low, we have decided not to offer a comparable alternative. Perhaps you would like to conjure up your own mixture of coconut and almond puree? Best regards, Sina

Well, I made a pretty good copy of this delicious spread with my bean-to-bar chocolate equipment. I used about a third of shredded coconut, a third of almonds and the rest sugar and skimmed milk powder. All refined/conched in a blender such as Premier or Cocoatown. Unfortunately, this "purist" recipe (with no added palm oil) only produces a firm, spreadable consistency below 22°C, the almond and coconut oils being liquid at 24°C. It's a drawback, of course, but what a pleasure to be able to make this kind of product with so few ingredients! What's more, the shelf life is comparable to that of industrial products.
