Dear Migros, yes, I'm one of those people who always forget their "Züri-Säck", especially when you're standing at the checkout and thinking about everything else instead of this plastic bag roll. How about a hint, a note or instead of the question, "Cumulus?" "Züri-Säck?" - "ah yes, thank you!!!"

Another suggestion (once seen at a discounter with a German parent company).
You could simply find a small card on the shelf next to the plastic bags saying "Fee bag x liter", which you could then take with you to the checkout. Simple but effective, because nobody thinks to ask for the bags at the first attempt.
