I am an absolute smoothie fan. To make really healthy smoothies, you can't do without the greens. Kale would be perfect for this. Hardly any American smoothie recipe can do without kale. I've been looking for this miracle kale in Switzerland for some time now. That would be something for your super range :) Is there a reason why kale is nowhere to be found in Switzerland? How about shock-frozen kale as an alternative?

Hello everyone.... In the meantime, I've done a little research... So: the most common term here in Switzerland seems to be: Ferderkohl... Unfortunately only available from fall.... Strange really, as it seems to be available all year round in America. I would also like it if it were imported... So that you can buy it here all year round... I checked with an organic farmer and they will have the cabbage from October... At least that's something... But I'll keep looking... For those who are interested from the Zurich Oberland region and the surrounding area, I can give you the farmer's contact details... Just ask... I will contact you again when there is news.... Spring cabbage is only available after the first frost (around the end of October/November). Like Brussels sprouts, this is necessary so that it tastes sweet.
Spring cabbage is also available at the market in Zofingen (Tue and Sat, 7-11 am).
Incidentally, there is not only green, but also "purple" kale.
I actually think it's stupid that we have to copy every hype from the Americans - but yes, kale tastes really good. You can use it not only for smoothies, but also in stews or "baked" in the oven to make chips.
If anyone is interested: I have a mini garden in Bern and I still have 4 giant kales growing there. I am happy to give them away. Just let me know if you are interested.

In Migros stores in Zurich there was also spring cabbage. However, I would also welcome an expanded range.

We sowed kale in the garden years ago. The vegetable is really hip now. It's also very versatile (we had something with it at least once a week).
That's why we'd like to buy the seeds from Migros. Is it also available to buy this year?
