Hello dear Migros team
I have been asking myself for a long time why it is not possible to include a cat food in the range that contains at least 70-90% clear and detailed meat?
Such as e.g.
http://guteskatzenfutter.de/catz-finefood/
All the other cat food brands such as Selina, Sheba, etc. always say only meat and animal by-products.
That means guaranteed some form or waste meat (claws, hooves, udders or feathers)
Why is this not possible?
Thank you for your answer

That's not quite true@Traberli. Cats need meat to live healthy lives, like all carnivores, but that does not mean that they ONLY eat meat. Carnivores only eat A LOT of meat, a small proportion of plants in the diet is/should be allowed. But 40% is really very high, I wouldn't feed my cats something like that. My food consists of 95% meat and 5% plants WITHOUT grain.
Hello @Traberli, please excuse me, our information regarding the potato content was incorrect. The comma in the list of ingredients was misread, the 40 % does not refer to the potato content but to the poultry or pollock content. The added potato flour makes up 28 % of the Nala Junior Poultry (plus 0.78 % potato protein) and the Nala MSC Saithe contains 24.8 % potato starch and 4.5 % potato protein.
You can find the full details on the product label. Or on the respective website: Nala Junior Poultry and NalaAdult MSC Saithe.
Each of our recipes is a complex composition of different raw materials to ensure the conditions of a complete feed for the animals. Our food contains all the necessary nutrients to ensure that healthy animals can be fed exclusively and for a long time.
Best regards, Sina

Hello, I would like to know if there are hidden sugars in Nala Adult sensitive chicken 70% and Nala Adult turkey 65%, which may not be recognizable as such at first glance? Or is it really the case that you can rely 100% on the ingredients listed and that there are actually no sugars in the food, apart from the fructo-oligosaccharides and mannan-oligosaccharides? Thank you very much for your answer!

Hey, here's a little tip for neutralizing the smell of cat food: https://www.luftking.de/gerueche-neutralisieren/ It may often happen that it smells unpleasant, but these tips work wonders :)

In the meantime, the Nala brand has unfortunately been removed from the range and there is no longer any cat food with a high meat content. Dear Migros, do you have a new, similar product in the pipeline?

Hello Anonymous Lemur 63, thank you for your inquiry. We are currently reviewing the range. There will certainly be new products again. However, I can't give you any more details yet. Best regards, Noemi
I see it exactly the same way as Shadow_ZH. And now the reasonably good food Nala is being taken out of the range, and the newly added Felix - another young cat food - is being offered. What a pity. How about a first-class food, dear Migros? One without grain, without sugar and with a high meat content (min. 70%).
