I have been asking myself for a long time why it is not possible to include a cat food in the range that contains at least 70-90% clear and detailed meat?
Such as e.g.

All the other cat food brands such as Selina, Sheba, etc. always say only meat and animal by-products.
That means guaranteed some form or waste meat (claws, hooves, udders or feathers)
Why is this not possible?

I am familiar with the Nala cat food. I also think it's a good step that such a food is now in the range.
However, the composition again says meat and animal by-products. Well 65% and 100% of turkey (to give turkey wet food as an example) but I wonder what kind of meat? As far as I know, meat in the industry includes everything from the animal. But what kind of meat is it then? The word by-products as a stand-alone word bothers me enormously. What are these by-products? Claws? Feathers? Beaks?
It's a good move. Keep it up.
As I said, I would be interested to know what kind of meat is used and what these by-products are. Could you find out?

At Nala, we only use animal raw materials - also known as animal by-products - which come exclusively from animals that are also suitable for human consumption. We would like to state that the use of claws, beaks or other inferior products does not meet our quality standards at Nala.
We are aware that products with a high proportion of muscle meat are considered to be of particularly high quality. However, it is also the case that organs in particular contain many vital nutrients and are therefore part of a balanced diet. The combination of organs, muscle meat, bone material, connective tissue and fat means that the required nutrient profile can be covered almost exclusively by natural raw materials. This also meets the nutritional needs of cats, which are carnivores and eat almost all of their prey.
With this combination, we try to provide Bein Nala with the ideal nutrition for cats.

It says on the packaging that the food contains no wheat. What about other cereals and carbohydrates?

No grain is added to either variety of dry food. As we declare all the ingredients in this food, you can find them in the j composition printed on each bag. The remaining ingredients are listed in descending order:
Adult chicken
Potatoes (dried), dried chicken protein, liver meal, animal fat, protein hydrolyzate, dried beet pulp (desugared), linseed, salmon oil, colostrum, yeast (dried, as a source of mannans and glucans), peas, psyllium husks
Senior poultry
Potatoes (dried), dried beef and pork protein, cellulose powder, dried beet pulp (desugared), liver meal, protein hydrolyzate, potato protein, salmon oil, potassium chloride, colostrum, yeast (dried as a source of mannans and glucans), peas, psyllium husks

fresh chicken 40 %, potatoes (dried ) 27 %, chicken protein (dried ) 16 %, liver meal 4 %, animal fat, protein hydrolyzate 3.8 %, dried beet pulp (desugared), linseed, salmon oil, colostrum 0.3 %, yeast (dried) 0.3 %, peas, psyllium husks.
The product Nala wet food 6x85 g contains the following components:
Meat and animal by-products 65 % (100 % from veal), potatoes 2 %, minerals, oils and fats (salmon oil) 0.2 %.
