Is there now only a 5X Cumulus voucher for birthdays and no longer a 10X voucher?

I suspect this is because Famigros is linked to Cumulus. Although Cumulus is supposed to be a household card, only one person is registered there as the cardholder. That's why only one parent is registered with Famigros - the cardholder. er! strange, this procedure.
Hello everyone, Famigros/Cumulus registration is limited to one main participant. This is simply due to data protection regulations, so that mutations do not have to be approved by two people. Of course, an additional ticket for partners will be provided for Famigros raffles so that the whole family can take part in the respective event. Best regards Peter

The Migros Cooperative Zurich has abolished birthday vouchers altogether. And they think we don't notice.

@Erwinius I've been a member of the Migros Zurich cooperative for more than 30 years now and I can't remember ever receiving coupons for my birthday. Maybe it's been too long, but this year, for the first time, there was no coupon booklet in the mailing for the ballot. Nevertheless, we didn't go away completely empty-handed: there are two vouchers at the bottom of the letter. I almost overlooked them because they are folded back and so small.

Hmhm Aaaabut the children don't have to give their consent. And one of the main participants, if the 2nd person also registers, will also use the card. This means I can activate the card and vouchers as I wish and the second person can do the same. I HAVE already given my consent, because with the second card a second person has access to my Cumulus account! So two people and children use it indirectly. That's why everyone should get the Geburi benefit, and the senior benefit doesn't work on the family card either. It has been applied for, but apparently the person over 60 needs their own Cumulus account? Maybe the family cards are not a good idea then?

I can't remember ever having received such vouchers either. And lately there are practically no more Cumulus vouchers like there used to be. In the Coop, on the other hand, I've been getting some lately, but not in Migros.

If you have registered with Club Famigros, you will receive a 5x advantage coupon from Famigros for every birthday of one of the registered children. This coupon is registered in the Cumulus account about a month before the birthday so that you can use it to buy birthday presents or organize a party. The coupon for your own birthday is entered on the holiday itself or a few days before as a small surprise. This coupon is not distributed to partners. Unfortunately, Famigros now only offers a 5x coupon for birthdays. In recent years, Cumulus has created more and more opportunities to collect multiple points so that you can benefit and save. These different offers are highly appreciated and actively used by many of our customers. Of course, our customers will continue to have the opportunity to benefit from very advantageous offers from Cumulus and Famigros in the future. Enquiries about the senior card can be directed to the toll-free number 0800 001 688. Best regards Peter

The events in connection with the coronavirus (COVID-19) placed huge demands on Migros in various areas. Various measures had to be introduced in order to meet the exceptionally high demand for food and everyday items. Unfortunately, these measures also included reducing promotions and Cumulus advantage coupons and temporarily canceling Famigros birthday coupons. In this way, we avoided offers no longer being available due to high demand or interrupted supply chains. Kind regards, Peter

Great, both children had their birthdays in June and have now received nothing! You could also just post the vouchers at some point ;-)

And from now on there will be the birthday Cumulus advantage coupons again? Because there are less strict conditions. And honestly, I can understand why the "birthday people" didn't get one during Corona. But it could now be activated after the strict measures? I think it has completely different reasons? 5x already points to austerity measures. The competition wants to lower prices, supposedly so that there aren't so many marginal buyers. It sounds more like they simply want to push prices down massively, just like in the neighboring country. Cheaper, cheaper and it gets even cheaper... Stinginess is cool... And in the end, the cheap and exploited employee pays the price and everyone who manufactures, produces and delivers... It's sad and not at all good what could come.
