I miss dan offer of a whole trutenbust, like Aldi and Lidl offer. It is packaged to keep well and is very versatile. Either as a whole roast turkey, or pieces of it, it also tastes delicious cold if you prepare the whole thing at once.

today i was in migros and discovered SWISS turkey breast!
it is sold by frifag and is "produced" by the ullmann family,
in the canton of thurgau. the ullmann family's homepage made a good impression. of course, it only shows pretty pictures, but swiss turkey farming is definitely the better alternative to foreign farming!

our migros is a MM, so not huge, in central switzerland. i assume that the turkey breast is also available in other branches.
maybe not always, as there seems to be only one farm that supplies migros.
if your hunger for turkey breast is so great that you always want it, you could also freeze it.
you can ask your migros if/when/where they are available :)

Next time I will look in 9500 Wil. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have them. Wil has unfortunately changed a lot for the worse.
Where can you find the turkey breast and on which shelves? Where the chicken breasts are?

hm okay... it's best to ask if you can't find anything. or contact someone on migipedia if your migros isn't so good anyway.
the turkey breast can be found in the poultry products, yes. where the optigal products and chicken breasts are. the turkey breast is packed in a yellow plastic tray, the label stands out because there is a green meadow with a turkey and a red turkey with a swiss cross on it. maybe not 1:1 like my description, but that's how it looks in my head.

In recent years, Migros has had all farms in Hungary, Germany and, more recently, France converted: Instead of the EU standard of a maximum of 10,000 animals per barn, the upper limit of 3,700 animals that applies in Switzerland has been established. Measures such as the introduction of raised seating areas, winter gardens and more space per animal have significantly improved the conditions in which turkeys are kept. In Hungary alone, Migros has optimized over 30 stables in accordance with the requirements of the Swiss Animal Welfare Ordinance.
