When I handed in my new Famiros card at the till for the first time, I was amazed when the cashier had to swipe the card twice. Time-consuming for the staff and then she had to check whether she had scanned both correctly! I found it rather tedious!

I was already thinking the same thing, now the cashier has to remember that she has to sweep the card too
... not only does the cashier have to remember to scan the item twice (barcode front & back)...
... the part also "jams" regularly... this is annoying and I wonder what the reason is:
- code too small?
- in the wrong place on the card?
- ...?
Improve the next map version!

The really unbelievable thing here is that in the already advanced 20th century it was obviously not possible to set things up in such a way that the Cumulus cards of a family registered with Famigros could simultaneously be recognized as Famigros cards in the IT system and used accordingly. There must have been technical obstacles that we mere mortals could not even remotely imagine!

Yes, I'm actually wondering the same thing: if Famigros is already linked to Cumulus, why isn't it technically possible to integrate Famigros into the existing Cumulus number? The card handling at Coop is already tedious and you constantly have to make sure that both codes are actually scanned. For how much longer?
i agree with sirio and mathomas! that something like this is not possible nowadays??? that would be something innovative dear migros - reduce the card craze in your wallet!!!!
I agree with Sirio - I can't believe that it's not technically possible to use the same barcode for Famigro's membership. Linking it to the entry in the database really shouldn't be a problem.
Of course this is technically possible, apparently FAMigros was simply introduced later than Cumulus - as far as I know Migros, the problem of double scanning will surely be solved - right? ;-.)

A year has passed and is something already being planned? It's really a joke that one scan isn't enough. (I would actually prefer it if PayPass payment could be done all in one).
