ESTATHE iced tea

ESTATHE Eistee

EstaThe

Good evening

Many years ago I was in Italy and was allowed to try ESTATHE. The iced tea is really very good and I took many packs home with me?

Unfortunately, you can only buy this iced tea very rarely in Switzerland; it is currently only available in the Selecta online store, where it costs quite a lot and shipping costs extra.

Coop doesn't seem to want to include the iced tea in its range, so I only have Migros left and as it sells Ferrero products anyway, it could perhaps offer the iced tea more cheaply as a bulk buyer.

You might think that Migros already has enough good iced teas, but the taste of the iced tea here is simply very different to the other iced teas from Migros, which are also very good in their own way?

I and certainly many other customers would love to be able to buy this iced tea. There is a post in the Migipedia forum from 2013 without an answer. It would be really great if Migros could offer the small cups or even the 1.5L bottles. There are certainly many fans of this iced tea and Migros would have a product that is only available from them.

There is an iced tea with lemon and an iced tea with peach.

Best regards
Bascolo

Could you be a little more specific? The Wehntalerstrasse is long; it goes from Milchbuck to Affoltern on the city border with Regensdorf.

Thank you for your kind inquiry... Wehntalerstrasse 94 CM Lädeli

For those of you who are interested: Coop has Esta The Limone or Pesca (cans, 24 x 33cl) on promotion from today (10.5.) until Saturday (15.5.) for Fr. 21.60 (https://www.coop.ch/de/lebensmittel/getraenke/soft-drinks/cola-limonaden/uebrige-limonaden/esta-the-limone-24x33cl/p/6884043?context=search; https://www.coop.ch/de/lebensmittel/getraenke/soft-drinks/cola-limonaden/uebrige-limonaden/esta-the-pesca-24x33cl/p/6884042?context=search).

Now some time has passed and many new drinks have been introduced, what about this summer? I like Migros iced tea too, but you want a change from time to time. For anyone who lives near Aarau, there's a Sapori at the station next to the Coop, which offers Estathe.

Esta Thè is now available in the Coop, you can check availability online: https://www.coop.ch/de/lebensmittel/getraenke/soft-drinks/ice-tea/ice-tea-lemon/esta-the-limone/p/6062048 It has lime and peach ;-).

yes, they have included it in the Coop range, it's a shame that Migros doesn't respond to customer wishes.............. sad sad and always the same excuses.

Coop is progressive, Migros is backward... Sorry if I have to put it like that, but unfortunately it's true. Coop has included many things in its range that Migros is still considering/checking or doesn't even want to include in its range... Coop has also included Nocco Golden Grape del Sol and Nocco Blood Orange del Sol in its range, for example. Migros has not.

I have the feeling that the product managers responsible for beverages want to "get their taste through" and ignore customer wishes. This starts with Passaia alone. Even today, there is still demand for the drink. People are worried about health and sugar, but alcohol would work? And since mineral water from abroad has been on the road and the budget iced tea has been competing with normal iced tea, environmental and brand reasons no longer count as an argument for me. I think it's a shame that the drink isn't even given a chance, not even as a promotion, the little cups would be perfect for that. By the way, Coop is currently offering a 40% discount on Esta The! You're missing out on an opportunity here.

It's currently available online with a 40% discount, too bad we have to go to the competition.

What's the pity? That's just the way it is, competition stimulates business ;-)

I just think it's a shame, customers have been asking for the product for almost half a decade and every year anew, Migros offers many Ferrero products, so you could start a campaign, for example, to see how it goes. I know so many people who would like the iced tea. Iced tea is always bought, so there's hardly any risk of sitting on the products. It's also a bit of a matter of principle for me, you want to promote your own brands, but you throw out Passaia and offer the practically identical product in the small and much more expensive glass bottle. Of course the Migros iced tea is good and I practically only drink it, but the taste is always similar and the Esta The would offer a change of taste. It would be nice if it worked next year. Until then, I'll probably buy the iced tea in the Coop - if it's not already out of stock, as it often is 😅

In Lidl, when they had it as a special offer, it was sold out within 1-2 days; in the Coop you are also often faced with empty shelves (but it is always restocked). That's saying something, isn't it? But Migros is going its own (for me incomprehensible) way... bypassing the customers...
