Hello folks
I will soon have my first apartment of my own and am thinking about buying the m budget mini. What are your experiences with the customer service and in general?
I already have m budget mobile and am actually very happy with it.

I'm not happy with MBudget at all. I can't adjust anything for my elderly mother there. The hotline is terribly dismissive when I call.
@Adrian123456 What exactly would you like to customize?

Hello Adrian123456 Thank you for your message. Would you like to describe your request in more detail so that I can clarify the answer with the appropriate contact person? Kind regards Kathrin

Sorry, I was very angry. My problem is not with the Internet but with M Budget Mobile. The hotline didn't want to deal with my request, as this can only be done by the person with the contract themselves (in this case a 90-year-old mother with a relatively poor understanding of technology). It's about a new SIM card that needs to be delivered; the old one is broken due to a change of phone. Instead of calling the hotline, I chose to use the contact form. I received an answer today (see below). Back to field 1 Thank you for your inquiry. In order to process your request as quickly as possible, please contact us directly by telephone on the toll-free number 0800 15 17 28 (Monday to Friday 8.00 - 18.00, Saturday 8.30 - 16.30). Kind regards, -- M-Budget Customer Support

Hello Adrian May I ask you to complete your details? If you send me your cell phone or customer number to community@mgb.ch, I will forward it to you so that the SIM card can be exchanged immediately. Kind regards Kathrin

Dear Kathrin I have now visited my mother and contacted the hotline again from her home. After she crumbled down the address and date of birth, the SIM card was ordered. Next time I'd better pretend to be my mother. Thanks for your efforts and best regards Adrian

Dear Adrian, I am glad that the story has found a happy ending. I wish you and your mother happy holidays! Kind regards Kathrin

Well, head-scratcher, don't-know-right..., you can have a look around here on the forum, e.g.
https://community.migros.ch/m/Forum-Migipedia/M-budget-tb/m-p/690065#M34395
However, you should bear in mind that those for whom everything works perfectly do not report to the forum. It's actually a shame that
https://shop.m-budget.migros.ch/de/internet-tv-und-festnetz/kombi-mini
is not connected to the customer rating system.
I've had a combined offer from M-Budget for 5 years now. Looking back, I am mostly satisfied and can say the following about it:↵↵👍 The price-performance ratio is right, even compared to the Swisscom offers. These clearly offer more, but are also correspondingly more expensive. The concept of the cheap, simple but good M-Budget line, which we know from food, is successfully implemented in the telecom sector.↵👍 Internet, landline phone and Replay TV worked acceptably to very well almost without exception. (I have mobile elsewhere)↵👍 If there were any problems, the support always seemed competent and solution-oriented. Both via the hotline or by written request, where a callback is made.↵👎 Winbox and TV box have to be restarted from time to time (every few weeks to months). If something doesn't work, it always seems to be related to these boxes. The boxes have never been renewed; there is only new firmware.↵👎 The most unsolved problem is the large number of spam advertising calls to landlines. (Domestic call centers and foreign scammers) While the other telecom providers had already used filters on their own initiative in recent years, M-Budget must implement this in 2021 due to legal requirements. I don't know how good they will be. Foreign scammers in particular are very troublesome because they always call with a different number. My Siemens phone can block some individual numbers, but that only helps against Swiss centers. The "CPR Call Blocker v5000", with which any number of individual numbers, entire country blocks, anonymous callers, number suppressors, etc. can be blocked, provided a remedy.
unfortunately i can't recommend it so far from my initial experience. it's not the 'line spoilage' or anything else. i can't say anything about that yet. but my experience so far: the customer service from them is an absolute shambles. i'm a new internet/fixed network customer. and i set everything up for a certain date, with porting of my existing number from my old provider. i was told to cancel etc. with my old provider myself. i did so and registered with mbudget, all with the same date (proofed, i have the sheets). now somehow mbudget just independently gave my old provider a much later date to cancel (what's up with that, why can they negotiate with them when i was told i had to cancel?). etc etc. absolute chaos. and i'm stuck on the phone for hours. the guy from mbudget who arranged it said himself on the phone that he was new and had no idea etc. this customer service is a disaster. and it only costs me time and money, my network is switched on much later by them and I have to pay a 99fr connection fee😂 and I don't get an explanation for it, they just all egg it on in (high german or whatever, sorry to say) when you call. migros, that's really a no go. but it's good to learn what mbudget means... so far, as I said, I wouldn't recommend it.
Caution: If you value interference-free radio reception, keep your hands off 'M-Budget TV/Radio'! I switched from satellite reception to 'M-Budget TV/Radio' about two months ago. The TV reception has been trouble-free so far, but the radio transmission is constantly interrupted with the message: 'The radio program is currently interrupted. Please try again later'! Over 20 telephone calls to the hotline, dozens of e-mails and several registered letters have not resulted in any improvement, and at least three or four different 'technicians' have been 'on duty' (including on site)! The problem obviously lies in the preparation of the station offerings and where the various radio stations are 'tapped'.
