I feel exactly the same way.
Even very little aluminum powder is unnecessary and cannot be recycled from such a composite film. What's more, this product doesn't need this protection at all. Unless it is produced in China in a factory that pollutes the products as well as the employees with bad odors.
Aluminum should simply no longer be used unless the product is really sensitive to light or air or loses its quality when it releases its own odor. Although I also have a problem with the latter (coffee, cocoa etc.)

nevertheless, i cannot understand this type of packaging.
the packaging of hosiery in particular has been tried and tested for decades and is perfect, and the packaging of underwear in migros is exemplary.

I have 'dug up' an 'old' discussion and would like to ask whether this ellen amber "keep warm" underwear is actually no longer available. I can find 'warming' underwear in the store, but it's only available in white and seems much thicker than the 'keep warm' underwear, e.g. the purple ones from ellen amber (60% viscose, 35% polyester, 5% elastane). I can no longer find them in any Migros in my area. These underwear (including the U-pants, short-sleeved/long-sleeved T-shirts, etc.) were simply great. Thin and pretty and still very comfortable to wear underneath - just 'keep warm'.... Couldn't you reintroduce this line? - Thank you & best regards.
