Dear Migros, when presenting/scanning the Cumulus card, the receipt for the purchase is already stored digitally and can be accessed via the app and computer. Why can't I simply check a box in the app to say that I no longer want to have it printed out at the checkout or self-scan? The same applies to digital coupons: why do I need a piece of paper for a digital coupon first? This can be solved via an alert in the app, for example.
I would be very happy if this could be implemented.

But using it doesn't need any magic or rocket science. The Coop cracked these nuts a long time ago and it's a real pleasure not to fiddle with a receipt any more.

Not quite true - at least it wasn't like that for me: I was turned away for a defective gift item (shopping bag filled with groceries) because the shopping bag was defective. Not even the reference to the purchase date was of any use as a "non-Supercard holder" - although I experienced a lot of goodwill at Migros and also at Landi... Migros accepted immediately and Landi reconstructed a purchase receipt for a Nespresso machine that was 2 weeks old within 10 minutes because Nestlé needed the receipts..... so Coop is accommodating.... BTW...Do you work for Coop?
The most disconcerting thing about Coop was that during my two-month experiment with digital receipts, in around 80% of cases I saw or heard the checkout staff print out the receipt anyway (probably manually overridden) and throw it away. This happened in four different stores. Either poorly trained, overwhelmed or the system is not fully developed.
I have had the Coop PDF receipts for almost 2 years without any problems (even with exchanges and returns).
I doubt that many of the people at the checkout presses and throws away receipts and if it is so that does not bother me.
The main thing is that I get a note by e-mail and don't have to deal with a piece of paper. (It would be nice if Coop Pronto had e-notes).
What kind of SHELDON are you letting off here in the UK it's been working for more than a decade and at Coop for several years now?!!!
