I would like to know why the budget cooking butter doesn't really harden in the fridge unlike all the other butter offerings. Thank you.

What I question about this budget butter is the origin: It says under indication of origin: Made in Switzerland How is this to be interpreted? Swiss butter or EU butter, but packaged in Switzerland.... The problem is not only with the butter, but in general I am very unsure about all *domestic" M-Budget foods. I am not saying that such EU butter does not meet the hygienic regulations, but a different (=not so familiar to us) consistency would be quite possible....
Hello wef17, thank you for your message. Indeed, the foreign goods should meet the same quality requirements as the domestic items. As promised, I am following up on brika_2's comment. As for the declaration, which you also mention, butter stocks in Switzerland are currently at a very low level. In addition, the consumption of butter has increased significantly during the lockdown (no shopping tourism). In order to ensure the availability of goods, imports are necessary. However, this only applies to cooking butter and the M-Budget variant. The remaining products are still sourced domestically. The packaging basically looks the same. However, the corresponding country is printed on the declaration of origin. Kind regards, Tabea

Hello Tabea and everyone who replied Thank you very much for your efforts. The topic is not earth-shattering, but somehow it interests me simply because I can't explain it with such a simple product: just fat. What strikes me about the nutrition declaration is that the added information per 100 g is not 100 g, there is 17 g missing, what could that be? Well, I looked for the L number, but unfortunately I couldn't find one. The date runs until 28.3., origin is FR. En guete Tag, Brika

Hello brika_2, I clarified this with the relevant specialist department. The difference of 17 grams is water - this does not have to be listed in the nutritional table. The optimum refrigerator temperature is approx. 7 ºC for the middle section of the refrigerator. Kind regards, Luisa
