Do any of you know why the vanilla-flavored Bifidus yogurt is no longer available in all Migros stores?

Yes, because it has been replaced by the sugary LC1!!!! Migros loves sugar and removes great sugar-free products and puts sugar bombs on the shelves - in this day and age.............
I suspect that the Bifidus vanilla yoghurt was removed from the range because Migros added LC1 vanilla (the brand label) to the range. It is often the case that Migros removes a product from the range and then replaces it with a branded product (or it disappears completely and is not replaced); see also Oh! High Protein Drink Vanilla => was replaced by Emmi Energy Milk High Protein Vanilla...

Thank you for your reply. That's a real shame :((( I much preferred the Bifidus Vanilla!

Thank you very much for your answer! Too bad.

Perhaps the product really had very low sales? I also don't think that all products are very popular.

I have wondered with quite a few of our favorite products that have been discontinued how it can be that their sales are so low... I doubt it, especially when I remember how often the rack/tray etc. was empty and had to be refilled again and again... But Migros has its own sales figures and uses its own criteria to decide what is a favorite product and what is removed from the range... That's why I always write that, in Migros' opinion, it no longer meets customer needs...

Surely that can't be true!!! It seems to me that they're always taking my favorite products out of the range... They put us off in Meilen with the answer that "the yoghurt is currently out of stock" - sticking to the truth would also be something!

There is already a discussion about the LC1 yogurts in this thread (it was about the You yogurts that have been removed from the range): https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/forum/you-joghurts?backtoboard=q%3D%26p%3D3%26sort%3Dlast_activity&p=1 In the thread in question, I wrote that I had received incorrect information from Migros employees (not the first time) or the same answer as you simply regarding the You yogurts... I wouldn't just believe everything the employees tell you, they are usually not that well informed or not informed at all about whether a product has been taken out of the range, whether there are supply problems/disruptions, whether it is currently being revised/improved etc. (which is not a bad thing at all, but there are supply problems/disruptions). (which isn't a bad thing at all, but I think that if you don't know, then please tell the customer honestly that you don't know and don't just claim something that isn't true); when I see the "pisses me off" face with which the employees do their job and how they sometimes go out of their way to avoid customers who come straight up to them because they want to ask them something, I'm somehow not surprised... Of course, not all employees in all branches are like this (but unfortunately the majority, that's my personal experience). There are also the few exceptions who know and are happy to help; or if they don't know, they go and ask and tell you what's going on. M-Infoline here in the forum knows best in this respect. The put-off is usually the standard answer (at least in this store where I often go shopping); it is rarely correct. For the products that I have asked about, the products had effectively disappeared from the range and were not "currently out of stock". I have also experienced that there was a sticker on the product in the store saying "currently out of stock" or "delivery interruption"; and weeks later this sticker disappeared, including the product label, and the products were no longer available. You can ask the employees, but if you want to know exactly, I would look here in the thread to see if anyone has already posted something, or otherwise open a thread and ask M-Infoline whether the product has been removed from the range or not. The answer from M-Infoline is always reliable and accurate.
Hello musut Thank you for your question. We no longer offer the Bifidus yoghurt 0% vanilla in our range. We revise our range at regular intervals. The popularity of this yoghurt has steadily declined, which has prompted us to discontinue it. As a replacement, I recommend our LC1 yoghurt vanilla. We are aware that this change will not meet with everyone's understanding. Nevertheless, we hope that we can continue to welcome you with us. best regards, Angela

How can Migros say that the LC1 Vanilla is a substitute! Absolutely not true, because it has SUGAR IN IT!
