Which Switzerland-wide notification are you talking about? The Migros newsletter that is sent out every Sunday morning? That's where I saw this mention. In the regional section ("News from your region") and only in the newsletters for the Zurich Aare region. You won't find this Amigos information in the newsletters for Lucerne and Eastern Switzerland.

As AlMiDeCoLi correctly writes, we only send the mails to people in the pilot region. However, it is indeed possible that a few people outside the pilot region have received this e-mail. Sorry for that.

How long does a pilot project last? Certainly not 1 year or longer. Keep it going, you will then see that other cantons will certainly make use of it.
Pilot projects are coming everywhere or then you leave it alone, but favoring only certain cantons because they are larger than others is neither neutral nor equally justified.
Ergo, totally un-Swiss.

My opinion, no bad intentions. Just think about it. I think there was already this discussion when it first came up.

@Dominik_Migros I asked my acquaintances again. They were actually all people outside the pilot areas who were interested and had probably at least visited the Amigos website.
They were all irritated because they didn't receive the e-mail via a newsletter, but fromAMIGOS and the subject line said "Free delivery during Advent", giving the impression that the system was valid throughout Switzerland.
But not for "Uguet" - didn't want to cause any excitement ...

That's not unnecessary excitement, but your opinion, which I share with you. I once heard someone from ZH say "in Zurich, everyone only looks out for themselves anyway"
I don't know whether this statement is true. But if it were true, then Zurich is not really suitable for pilots for amigos.
As I said, I don't know, that's just what I've heard.

I hadn't subscribed to any mail, but I did get the free delivery in the canton of Vaud (you had to enter the voucher code "monbeausapin" when ordering). I found out about this through a flyer in my letterbox, which had been deliberately placed in a conspicuous position in all the letterbox slots.
Did the misleading emails perhaps go to people who didn't set the main branch correctly (or at all) in their profile?

The order was delivered by LeShop. I can't remember if they were talking about Amigos (I no longer have the flyer). As I understood the concept, the bringers would be penalized if they had to deliver for free in December.
I was mainly concerned with the question of how the misleading emails could come about, some setting (main branch...)/address in the profile... The first post referred to "all" Migros customers.

As a forum member of the first post, I already knew that this was a pilot in Zurich and Bern and, as you know, these take some time. That's why I and my friends - who all live outside the pilot area - were surprised by this personal e-mail, because it gave the impression that Amigos has now been introduced throughout Switzerland.
The email revealed that during the Advent season, Migros pays the "messenger's fee", i.e. it is a free delivery for the recipient, but the deliverer still receives compensation for his work.... simply paid by Migros.
Well - this "Amigos" principle has always existed in the closest circle of friends and family and the recipients are simply older people or people with limited mobility and the products are then items that have "kilos" - it is handled privately among themselves.
The system would be good in itself for people with limited mobility who do not have a close circle of friends and family where a cheap service can be called up at short notice. For many people, it probably fails because of their IT equipment (PC, smartphone) and credit card... because without these two restrictions, the home delivery service leShop would be an alternative, even if not everything can be done there within 2-3 hours.
I see the problem with the Bringer when it comes to handling - you do this when you are still shopping yourself, e.g. with self-scanning ... and then a 2nd order ???. The work includes purchasing, payment, transportation and delivery and not picking up bags that have already been packed and paid for at the information desk.... Migros is only the payment intermediary, i.e. I don't suffer any financial losses (non-payment of the purchase, no payment for the work).
Apart from standard sentences (which could also be fictitious), I have never heard anything so far - so no spontaneous statements.... or am I wrong?
I would be interested in any experiences - positive or negative...
