Dear Migipedia community and community team
I thought long and hard about whether I should write this thread. The following:
I accept that there are products that are made for vegetarians. Then there are products for vegans, I accept that too. If a product has to make way for a vegan product, I accept it.
But there's a difference, I've looked at various threads and it makes my hair stand on end. Veganism is a trend, Migros follows trends in its product range.
Allergies, on the other hand, are forced food changes.
Diabetics can't choose whether they can eat normal chocolate.
Epileptics can't choose whether or not to have menthol or eucalyptus in their products. They shouldn't. You just have to search for a long time until you find cold ointment or something like that.
Then there are also people affected by lactose intolerance. Also not a trend.
I think it's great that you're including alternatives in your range for allergy sufferers, so if you have to make way for something else, I fully understand.
But why do you take Christmas baubles away from diabetics just once a year? Incomprehensible.
And nothing against vegans, but how do vegans themselves, including lacto-vegans, feel when a product for allergy sufferers has to make way for vegan milk, whatever is replaced by lactose intolerant people against Lactovegan, a great example a few hours ago.
I would like all allergy sufferers and all voluntary attitudes towards food to express themselves here as to whether they think it's okay if allergy sufferers' products are replaced by vegetarian or vegan products, etc.
