MIGROS promises the next generation that it is environmentally friendly and wants to reduce plastic waste, for example.
At the same time, Migros distributes completely stupid plastic waste in plastic bags in campaigns such as "Swiss Mania".
Insanely beautiful ... big talk in front and a mountain of garbage behind.
I have nothing against trying to give people in Switzerland a little better knowledge about buildings and places in Switzerland.
But if you use horrible plastic garbage that doesn't even fit together in scale ... and also make gross mistakes in the location assignments, then the whole thing becomes more than embarrassing!
Even as a 2-year-old, I would have "disposed" of the horrible garbage contained in the plastic bags ... "disposed" of it because it wouldn't have matched my model railroad in scale and is so shabby that you can't use it for anything...
And please stop with the constant "Switzerland" talk: it's enough when the Swiss cows poop in the clean Swiss yard in the Aldi commercials .... at some point the Swiss craze becomes extremely embarrassing.
Thank you for your detailed reply, dear brainstuff.
I'm not "mass-regulating" or judging you as a person, I'm simply pointing out what rules apply here. I am not surprised that personal attacks on me and my profile picture are the answer. And that's why I'm asking you to remain objective one last time.
I'm sure you're right: Migros doesn't do everything right. And we never will. We can only work continuously to become better and better. The term "sustainability" does not only include the ecological component. A company must also include social and economic aspects in its sustainability considerations. And I think Migros has mastered this balancing act very well. This year we were named the world's most sustainable retailer in the Oekom rating for good reason. http://www.konsum.ch/information/news/rating-kuert-migros-zur-nachhaltigsten-detailhaendlerin-der-welt
I assume you don't really expect an answer to your rhetorical questions. It's not clear to me what Migros has to do with the behavior of individual people in cow pastures, nor do I know of a cow that has choked on a Swiss sight.
Have a nice weekend.
Best regards

<meta content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" http-equiv="content-type" /> Sergio ... You obviously think I'm a "whiner" who even insults you with a blurred profile picture. You're probably sitting there in your corner ranting ... this "brainstuff" even insults me because of my oh-so-sharp profile picture, because his "old lady" is no longer sharp!
But that's only because you put in your sharp profile picture and didn't check whether it would really be received as you expected. Now your profile picture is briefly "sharp", but not everywhere ... and then becomes blurred ... . SO: .
that's how it looks to me ... and please don't tell me now that my monitor has a wrong driver or a quirk. As you can see: the text is "sharp", the picture is completely "blurred" ... since I saw your picture in high resolution for a very short time, it seems as if your (really ingenious) web designer, who programmed this forum, reduces pictures that do not have the intended "high" resolution to "low resolution" and then it just becomes "blurred".
I am convinced that until now you have imagined that I am confronting you with this "blurred" image for completely unjustified reasons.
For me, this is a sign that you are "superficial" and obviously believe that technology always works and that you don't need to check it. And that also means to me that you don't listen to people and only "see" things that YOU want to see. It's so common here on this site: there are a bunch of people who call me massive names because they haven't even read my alleged "insults" ... they are constantly making up something that only exists in their delusions.
You can "correct" a lot of things on the internet and then it looks like everything was always "fine" ... You can even accuse people of saying that the blurred image was always sharp and that "bad" people are accusing you of something that doesn't exist.
You "reprimanded" me, whether as a "human being" or because I don't allow myself to be insulted without protest. Which is why it doesn't matter: it's not your place to reprimand me. You don't "reprimand" other people. I'm not telling you here: "Your profile picture is blurred, make it sharp", but I have told you that your blurred profile picture makes a bad impression.
There is no company in the world that does "everything" right. But you should be able to expect a company like MIGROS, which has particularly high "standards", to recognize mistakes, admit them and learn from them.
The fact that a company has to take social and economic aspects into consideration ... you must have "copied" from my first doctoral thesis ... I forgive you for that ... I am very generous ... and (please don't tell anyone) much of my doctoral thesis was also copied ... BUT ... of course I did NOT copy it myself, but my secretary at the time did ... after all, you come from a good family and you don't copy it yourself, you have it copied!!!! WE capitalists don't have it so good with the "social" .... but it always sounds so nice!
It's super cool that MIGROS was named the "most sustainable retailer in the world", that's also normal, most others are even more backward in this area. I am comparing with the "target state" and not with the fact that the "backlog demand" elsewhere is even greater.
There are several cows that have died from plastic waste ... there are whole hordes of farmers who attack people with pitchforks who indulge in "littering" ... I don't know whether a cow has already died from swallowing a plastic Swiss Mania Migros branch. But the Swiss-Mania-Plastic-Bundeshaus is no healthier for a cow. OBWOHL .... it's actually lucky that it's not the real Federal Palace ... with the Federal Councillors in it ... that would then perhaps be "fatal" for the cow, if it eats human flesh, it might get "Kreuzfeld-Jacob" ... is not an option!
It's a matter of principle: a company that "adorns" itself with "sustainability", like MIGROS, should refrain from such nonsensical plastic waste campaigns out of common sense and personal responsibility. My point is to stop the waste at the source. If you can't prevent the Chinese from producing the waste, then just pay them a few dollars to "dispose" of it directly at the place of manufacture ... Just take it straight from production to recycling! It's a win-win situation!
and read it all in detail and then see if there's anyone left in the Migros boardroom who hasn't forgotten that "decency" is part of the MIGROS business principle and that "MIGROS" doesn't think sneaky "sophistry" is cool at all.

Well, he/she is right in his/her basic statement. These plastic figurines simply don't fit if you want to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Personally, I also find it very paradoxical and a bit cheeky. When it comes to customer loyalty aimed at children, it's okay to pollute the environment again. (As with the Happy Meal) And let's be honest. Sooner or later, these figures really do end up in the bin or in nature.

However, Migros has long since given up on collection campaigns, unlike other retailers...
