I can't believe it ... Now Migros is also starting with fraudulent "systems".
This month's Cumulus statement comes with a flyer that says "Let's help needy children" and "Let's donate together".
At the bottom of the flyer there are a few "vouchers" ... 5 Fr, 5 Fr and 10 Fr. The bargain hunter is happy ... totally blatant mega cool ... I get up to 20 francs ....
ONLY ... if you are familiar with the usual tricks and scams ... then you realize that there is probably a fraudster at Migros waiting for people to come with the "vouchers" and PAY 5 Fr, 5Fr and 20 Fr .... great idea ... and soooo MIGROS-Like!
I'm ashamed of MIGROS!
And then on top of that "Pro Juventute" (they abused children in the 1950s!) and a religious organization ... great ... Mr. Duttweiler is turning in his grave!
Somehow this is yet another "action" that is clumsy and awkward.
@braistuff, nobody has said that older people are "gaga", except you of course! But of course you're allowed to make fun of everything and insult others, such as my mother. If someone gets on your back, the whining starts immediately (at least that's how I feel). That's typical! So it's about time you finally stopped insulting people! If you'd read properly, you'd know that I wrote that these actions by Pro Juventute cannot be condoned and, in my opinion, cannot be excused. I consider it the least that the Confederation, via the Federal Council, and Pro Juventute should apologize! And it was also accepted by those affected. Don't write now that this is just hypocrisy, only those affected have to decide, and you are not one of them! In our opinion, it is not possible to confuse them with discount coupons. There can be no question of deception! And nobody is forced to donate! Just like you are not forced to buy in Migros! I hereby support the blocking of braistuff on migipedia. A sensible discussion with him/her is not possible anyway. He/she believes, or so we believe, that he/she is infallible and better than others anyway. For me, this treaht is finished, because I simply don't want to lower myself to the primitive level of brainstuff.

@Imperator... You are certainly a "dialect" native speaker. That's why you apparently don't understand linguistic nuances ... at no point did I "insult" your mother. YOU insulted her because you insinuated that "even she" realized that these VOUCHERS are not vouchers. It's not something special that your mother still realizes this ... she's simply not senile yet, as you seem to have convinced yourself. It's quite normal that she realizes, probably even better than you, that this is not a charity campaign for Migros customers.
When my mother realizes that someone is trying to rip her off ... it's nothing special, it's "normal" and has very little to do with her age ... the only reason why she might notice it sooner, like me ... is that she has experienced such lazy tricks more often, like me. It actually has nothing to do with her age.
There is not a single "insult" in my entire text.
If you apologize for something for which you are not responsible ... like Federal Councillor Sommarouga .... then that is pure self-promotion. And if, while exercising a high-ranking function, you yourself are responsible for similar messes ... then the suspicion very quickly arises that you are trying to cover up the current messes with "apologies" relating to ancient stories. Ms. Sommarouga was probably not even alive at the time of the Pro Juventute scandals. She can only recognize the injustice that has been committed and compensate the people who have been harmed AND she can and must ensure that similar things do not happen during her time in government, under her direction. If I recognize injustice that existed before my time, then I will ensure, above all, that in 50 years' time, no one will have to apologize for the wrongs that occurred under my "rule".
If you are incapable of having a reasonable discussion and insult and threaten people ... as you show here ... I quote: "want to lower brainstuff to a primitive level" ... "that braistuff will be blocked on migipedia", then you disqualify yourself.
I am well within my rights to object here that this fliyer is full of malicious marketing ploys and that a "BON" is something you get something for and is not something you have to pay something for.
All I have asked here is that Migros respects the fact that Migros customers should be told very clearly when they want money from them. Nowhere on the flyer in question does it clearly state that Migros customers should make a "donation". You might even get the impression that handing in these vouchers triggers a donation, which MIGROS makes.
It is also quite clear that I am extremely displeased about the fact that "marketing tricks" and filthy whitewashing are becoming more and more widespread. If I buy something ... then I buy it and pay for it ... no "door handle cleaner" has to tell me that I only have to "trigger" the goods I have won.
If Migros wants to make any donations in the future, then it can do so, but if it wants money from me, then it better refrain from telling me the tearful stories about the poor children and ask me quite normally: "Migros thinks that XXX should be helped and would be pleased if you would donate money for XXX and will increase this donation by the same amount". Very simple, very normal and very clean! No stupid marketing tricks, no misused "vouchers". I expect decency, transparency, honesty and totally clean behavior from Migros. If a company like Migros wants to support something ... then it can give very clear reasons for this and talk openly about the fact that it costs something.
And while we're on the subject of "donations" ... if Migros wants to donate something, then it would be in line with Migros' concept to give each individual customer the option of donating something. For example, in the settings for the Cumulus card, you could set that instead of any plastic waste (like Swiss-Mania) you would rather get a few points or that the money saved for the plastic waste would be "saved" in the form of points for a purpose to be determined later by the customer. Then, once a year, the customer can decide whether to use it themselves or donate it to a good cause of their choice.

too bad that "some" only complain ? instead of being grateful that you are healthy and have everything?

If people find everything "good" ... then they live in a dictatorship or they are dead!
What did Ludwig Hirsch say? I'm lying on my back, my eyes are closed, my shoes are polished to a shine ... oh shock ... here comes the first worm ..."
If you close your eyes and don't criticize anything anymore, then the "worm" is in there, or not far away...
But there's still hope for you ... There is joy ... You're grumbling about me "complaining" here ... apparently you're still a bit alive .... great ... now you're finally "complaining" properly and not just about those who "complain", but about the grievances that need to be remedied! Let's go: quick-quick-quick-quick, now it's time to complain and keep your eyes open!
