Hello @Lorixan, thank you for your inquiry. The cooperatives decide for themselves which activities and offers they want to run. This is why the Aare cooperative will continue to run 2-fold Thursday. All members of the Eastern Switzerland cooperative have been informed by letter about the abolition of 2-fold Thursday.

Normally I only get the Cumulus mail from Migros. Except when there are votes, like recently.
Anyway, now I know.

Unfortunately, 2xpoints is no longer automatically available at Migros Aare

This is because the Aare cooperative has abolished the double Thursday at the beginning of 2018. Instead, as a result of the cooperative's anniversary, there is now a 4x coupon at the end of each month, which can be used once per Cumulus number from the 20th to the last of the month.
