The Migros Cooperative Eastern Switzerland has indeed decided to discontinue the 2-fold Cumulus Thursday. We are aware that this decision will not be met with understanding by all customers.
This day was introduced 12 years ago in order to better distribute the high customer frequency on Fridays and Saturdays - today we have noticed that our sales outlets are well frequented on all sales days. There are also countless opportunities to collect additional Cumulus points. The big advantage of this is that these offers are not tied to a specific day.

It's a shame that this decision was made. The Aare cooperative is still the only one that regularly distributes double points on Thursdays. I hope they don't make the same decision as Gossau and continue to stick to double Thursdays?
Hello @schweinchendick The 2-times Thursday in the Eastern Switzerland cooperative has no longer existed since 05.01.2017. Thanks to the individual advantage coupons, you can also get great Cumulus offers regardless of the day. Greetings Natalie

Great, I also noticed last Thursday that there are no 2x Cumulus on Thursdays. I asked my friends and nobody knew about it. I think Migros should announce it in the next Migros magazine.
