I have read both the text from the Cumulus-Infoline and that from Federwolke. You write: "If you usually buy under 50, you are in the control group for these test vouchers". The Cumulus-Infoline does not mention this criterion. It only writes that this time a minimum purchase was set for "a customer group". This does not necessarily mean that these are generally customers who usually buy for less than CHF 50. I haven't come close to this amount for any of my Migros purchases for over 5 years and didn't have this minimum purchase clause. Federwolke writes that some time ago she was supposed to reach a minimum purchase value of CHF 80 in order to be able to redeem the voucher and that this was quickly abolished again just because she no longer shopped at Migros at all. No, that's not the case either. Just because you ended up in a test group with a mail-order company doesn't mean that it will continue. No, I was just asking you how you came up with it, because I found it interesting and surprising that you would come up with such an assumption. At most, I'm trying to answer, explain or set the record straight. But I've already written that I find Migros' visual appearance anything but good. Or the "assortment adjustments". And also that I go shopping at Migros less and less often. I think "loyal" would be different. But maybe you're confusing me with someone else.

However, I wonder how the test is supposed to work if people don't even know that a minimum purchase is suddenly required after what feels like twenty years. That also applies in my case. However, I wouldn't have dreamed of looking it up if I hadn't found out about it here in the forum. In any case, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to reach a desired amount at all now that I'm more and more frequently unable to find the items I'm looking for on the shelves. The most recent example: Fischknusperli. I used to regularly buy perch crispies until they were removed from the range. Well, at least there were still zander crispies, but now these have also disappeared from the frozen food shelves. As I'm not really in the mood for fish fingers (and even less so for pangasius crispies, if they're still available at all), I'll probably have to look for another supplier.

Well, I have definitely not changed my shopping behavior with regard to the minimum purchase price in favor of Migros. I probably unconsciously go to other wholesalers more often when I don't have the little extra. I hope that the consumers in my control group behave in a similar way.

I was also allowed to be a guinea pig 6 years ago. The minimum purchase at the time was 80 francs (which I rarely reach as a single household), but there were also 5x vouchers. This nonsense was quickly stopped by not buying more, as expected by Migros, in order to reach this amount, but nothing at all or only the bare necessities during the term of these vouchers and the rest at the competition. Highly recommended for imitation.
Yes, the stupid coupons and promotions really suck. It would simply be better to have lower prices in general. I used to do at least 60-70% of my grocery shopping at Migros. You knew that the price was cheap and the quality was good. Today, I only buy over 50% of my groceries at Migros at a reduced price and probably hardly 20% of all my groceries there. With normal M prices, I simply feel "ripped off" too often.
