I was also allowed to be a guinea pig 6 years ago. The minimum purchase at the time was 80 francs (which I rarely reach as a single household), but there were also 5x vouchers. This nonsense was quickly stopped by not buying more, as expected by Migros, in order to reach this amount, but nothing at all or only the bare necessities during the term of these vouchers and the rest at the competition. Highly recommended for imitation.
I also noticed this when shopping today (purchase just over CHF 40.00) - receipt refused. Due to the massive reduction in non-food items in Migros City Baden after the renovation in 2020, I now have to buy my clothes and shoes at Coop City in Baden. You can practically never do that with food alone in a one-person household. This time vouchers for the cat.

I was also very annoyed that it was simply changed like that. As I've already said, you can hardly reach this amount in a single-person household. I can't just go shopping for groceries because I don't have a car.
It hasn't been changed yet, it's more or less a test. If you usually buy under 50.- you are in the control group of these test vouchers, if a lot of people suddenly buy over 50.- because of the x3 Migros thinks that it is worthwhile IF it is then implemented in the future. Q to generate more sales per customer, so to speak.
You've just made that up arbitrarily. Or where did this information come from?
Before redeeming a voucher or accepting it as a gift on the Internet, you should read the small print.

I have read both the text from the Cumulus-Infoline and that from Federwolke. You write: "If you usually buy under 50, you are in the control group for these test vouchers". The Cumulus-Infoline does not mention this criterion. It only writes that this time a minimum purchase was set for "a customer group". This does not necessarily mean that these are generally customers who usually buy for less than CHF 50. I haven't come close to this amount for any of my Migros purchases for over 5 years and didn't have this minimum purchase clause. I would prefer it if these 2-fold or 3-fold vouchers were redeemed automatically from a fixed amount, where you get a replacement for the same voucher with compensation for a longer period of validity, e.g. 6 months. It is very unrealistic for vouchers to be redeemed automatically. No retailer has any interest in this. The customer should think of it themselves. And what do the digital price tags on the shelves have to do with vouchers?
