What do you mean by double points in the 1st year? According to the brochure, this has always been the case with the Cumulus credit card - not just in the first year. Cumulus card 1 point per 1 franc + Cumulus credit card additionally 1 point per 1 franc for purchases in Migros and 1 point per 3 francs outside Migros and now again + 1 point with this Migros Cumulus VISA from Migros Bank for purchases at Migros.... 1+1+1 = 3 - so I get 3 points for a year with this new Migros Cumulus VISA from Migros Bank and at the end of the year still 2 points and if I do "cash is king" again and show the Cumulus card still 1 point per CHF 1 purchase ! Or is the previous advertising simply not correct ?

The previous advertising is correct. But I have the impression that you have misunderstood something. As far as I know, there were NO additional points for purchases at Migros because of the Cumulus credit card.

Hi aldo123 Previously, there were no double points for paying in Migros with the Cumulus credit card. With the new credit card, these are now available for one year. Outside Migros, one point is awarded for every CHF 3 purchase. Best regards, Marc

An additional question: until when is this promotion for double Cumulus points valid for the first year? After all, we are all environmentally conscious and do not dispose of a valid plastic card prematurely.

Hi Polarstern90, the offer is valid until further notice - but it is not yet known for how long. But it's definitely worth getting the new card now, for example because there's no processing fee for foreign currencies. So perfect for the summer vacations! Best regards, Marc

You can also apply for the new Cumulus Visa Card as long as you still have credit on the other card, it doesn't matter. But the credit will certainly NOT be transferred to the new card - if only because they are two different companies: the Cumulus credit card was previously issued by CEMBRA, while MIGROS BANK has been active as the issuer since 1 July 2022 (as a brand new company). The old card from Cembra will remain valid until the date printed on it and will then be replaced by the CERTO! card if you do not terminate the business relationship with Cembra. It does not matter whether you also have the new Cumulus credit card from Migros Bank or not. Is it clear now?
