I have been drinking Lungo Fortissimo exclusively for years. However, with the newly opened pack (31.07.2025 - 08 32 / L2016686127 023 / 1071798) I noticed a slightly sweetish tinge. I tried three capsules and unfortunately this was the case with all of them. I hope that this is not the new taste, but simply due to a contaminated filling system. Because Fortissimo really is my favorite coffee.

According to our supplier, this cannot be due to a contaminated filling machine - no flavoring is filled on the line and the previous fillings were also this coffee. As this is a natural product, natural fluctuations cannot be ruled out. We have not received any further feedback, which is why we assume that this is a one-off natural deviation. Therefore, the environmental impact of our plastic capsules tends to be lower than that of aluminum capsules, which are recyclable. Our capsules are made of polyprobylene, a material that can be easily disposed of with household waste. Thanks to its high combustion performance, the material even supports the combustion process in the system. The roasted coffee powder also burns at high temperatures. Is there a difference in use between the Delizio and Café Royal capsules? Can both be used in the same machines?

The Café Royal capsules are compatible with all current Nespresso®* coffee machines.
