The soup is advertised as "without preservatives according to the law". Is the industrially produced citric acid declared as an acidifier, which is also an antioxidant, not considered a preservative according to Migros' definition?

This stipulates in the Additives Ordinance that, in addition to the name of an additive, its functional class must also be stated. I also used to buy the large bags and had them in stock. Now I wanted to buy more and they're no longer available, so I bought the small ones, but somehow I have the impression that they taste different. It could just be an illusion.
