Can you explain why you put the "PET recycling" logo on these bottles if the product contains OIL, and therefore should not be disposed of with PET? I remind you that PET bottles of Oil and Vinegar should NOT be recycled this way! Thank you!

We thank you for contacting us. In general, what careful consumers have noted is true: neither vinegar nor oil bottles should be included in PET recycling. Awareness campaigns are being carried out on this issue. In the case of Gazpacho andaluz the situation is as follows. - The fat content of 2 g / 100 ml is low. The amount of Gazpacho AB bottles placed on the market is low compared to the total 1.3 billion bottles; therefore, they do not negatively affect the quality of recycled bottles. Therefore, it is possible to continue to include Gazpacho AB bottles in PET recycling, perhaps after rinsing them well. Do you have any further questions? Kind regards, dein M-Infoline Team

As I suffer from coeliac disease, I have a question about your product Anna's Best - Gazpacho andaluz: Is this product GLUTEN-FREE? I assume so, but without your confirmation I don't dare to eat it. And if it is indeed gluten-free, why doesn't it say so on the packaging? Yours sincerely, Lydia Calörtscher, 6030 Ebikon

Grüezi Lydia (@Ebikoner) If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Traces due to possible carry-over in the production process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Spices are gluten-free by definition. Seasoning mixes may contain gluten, but this would then have to be declared (e.g. seasoning mix [with wheat starch]) Best regards Frederica

Hello Ebikoner The product Anna's Best Gazpacho Andaluz does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, and no carry-over is to be expected. As user Federica has already mentioned: if a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Therefore: Check the list of ingredients! Traces due to possible carry-over in the production process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Unfortunately, it is not so easy to label all naturally gluten-free products or products that are gluten-free according to the recipe as such (mainly for food law reasons). Since, as mentioned above, it is clear from the list of ingredients if a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, special labeling is not absolutely necessary. We therefore limit ourselves to gluten-free specialty products (gluten-free products with the aha! Allergy Center Switzerland seal of approval). Best regards, your M-Infoline team
