I got to try it with other Alnatura products. I usually have a pack of pumpernickel in reserve: so far it has been the organic bread slices, https://migipedia.migros.ch/de/bio-pumpernickel-brot-in-scheiben which I continue to buy. Although the Alnatura pumpernickel is moist, does not dry out so quickly and does not lose its corners when opened, it could not convince me because it is not a top-class pumpernickel. It gets its distinctive dark color from a long, up to 24-hour steaming process. With Alnaurta pumpernickel, this process is shortened by the sugar beet syrup and the phytic acid is therefore not broken down as effectively!
