Hello 9Marianne, thank you for your question. The almond butter is made exclusively from almonds. Alnatura does not use any additives, such as stabilizers or emulsifiers, during processing. This can cause the almond butter to solidify over time if the almond oil separates. Even if the almond paste is stored in the fridge, its consistency will solidify. This is not a qualitative defect. From mid-June, around 300 Alnatura products will be sold in around 40 Migros stores in the Zurich cooperative. The rest of German-speaking Switzerland will follow at the end of August. The French-speaking part of Switzerland and Ticino are planned - but the launch is still unknown at the moment.
The Migros stores affected will introduce a partial range of around 300 Alnatura articles (all food areas except for the animal world and frozen food house, in the near/non-food baby food and the Alviana cosmetics line) on the shelves.
