Why are red onions no longer available in organic quality? And this has been the case for a long time
Hi Piem, thank you for your message. We will be happy to look into your question. For now, please let us know your preferred shopping region or store. We look forward to reading from you again! Best regards, your M-Infoline team
I shop in the Basel region, mainly at M-Park
Hello Piem, thank you very much for your feedback. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the red onions in organic quality are currently not available in the Basel region due to insufficient availability of goods. However, we will be happy to offer the product again as soon as we are able to obtain sufficient goods. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Local vegetables from the other side of the world - Migros proves that its "Generation M" posturing is just marketing and means absolutely nothing.
Hello guest
Migros has the principle of always sourcing a product from the geographically closest destination. Of course, availability and the high quality and product safety we demand must also be guaranteed. If a product is in season in Switzerland and there is sufficient local produce available, we source our products from Switzerland. It is not without reason that Migros is an important partner of Swiss agriculture and also endeavors to ensure that the entire domestic production can be marketed.
We are well aware of our responsibility and are therefore constantly reviewing and expanding our already high standards in terms of production, social standards and ecology.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Yes, that's true, there's always a "lazy one" among them. That's why I always take a close look at the package. Would it be possible to sell these onions openly?
Hello guest
Red onions are vegetables that can be stored well. This is one of the reasons why this product is offered in 500 gram units.
However, it goes without saying that the onions must be in perfect condition. We attach great importance to the freshness and high quality of the products. The responsible marketing department has been informed of the report and employees have been asked to pay even closer attention to the red onions in future and to step up checks.
However, given the large quantities involved, the possibility of a product falling through the control net can never be completely ruled out. In such a situation, it is possible to return the goods that do not meet the quality standard to the point of sale (preferably with receipt and packaging). The amount paid will be refunded.
We have forwarded the input regarding the open sale of red onions to those responsible so that the suggestion can be included in further considerations.
Best regards

Could it also be because the onions have traveled the world? They currently come from New Zealand.
