If a product is in season in Switzerland and there is sufficient local produce available, we source our products from Switzerland. It is not without reason that Migros is an important partner of Swiss agriculture and also endeavors to ensure that the entire domestic production can be marketed.

Red onions are vegetables that can be stored well. This is one of the reasons why this product is offered in 500 gram units.
However, it goes without saying that the onions must be in perfect condition. We attach great importance to the freshness and high quality of the products. The responsible marketing department has been informed of the report and employees have been asked to pay even closer attention to the red onions in future and to step up checks.
However, given the large quantities involved, the possibility of a product falling through the control net can never be completely ruled out. In such a situation, it is possible to return the goods that do not meet the quality standard to the point of sale (preferably with receipt and packaging). The amount paid will be refunded.
We have forwarded the input regarding the open sale of red onions to those responsible so that the suggestion can be included in further considerations.
