Hello Zobbi Check the ingredients, because if a product contains gluten, it must be declared openly, mentioning the cereals containing gluten (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, oats, etc.). Ingredients containing gluten must not be "hidden"! Traces of gluten due to unintentional mixing during the production process must be indicated at the end of the ingredient list by a "may contain" note ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Hello Zobbi, Zweifel Corn Chips Original does not contain gluten. If a product contains gluten-based ingredients, these must be declared and the gluten-containing cereal clearly identified (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Gluten-containing ingredients must not be "hidden"! If the product may contain traces of gluten due to the various decanting operations involved in its production, it must bear the words "may contain..." at the end of the list of ingredients ("may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten"). Spices are by definition gluten-free, unlike spice blends, which may contain gluten, and this should be clearly stated where appropriate (e.g. spice blend; contains wheat starch).
