Why is Zurich whole milk no longer produced with 3.8% solid content ("Swiss standard"), but only - watered down? - with 3.5% (EU standard)? I rarely buy whole milk (more often milk drink), but when I do, I expect the taste to match. It's a shame I now have to switch to non-regional versions. And yes, the difference is noticeable - I grew up along the Rhine myself and therefore know why hot chocolate etc. always tasted better south of the border: precisely because of the milk with a more natural fat content.
Hello guest, Züribieter whole milk is a natural product. To counteract any uncertainty, the declaration "min. 3.5%" fat content will be changed to "min. 3.8%" fat content. Have a nice day and best regards from the M-Infoline team

hello, why has the meadow milk been removed from the range? thank you for your reply
Hello guest
Meadow milk has been removed from the range in the Zurich region due to lack of demand. We are happy to recommendZüribieter Milch as an alternative.
Best regards

I have been buying this milk for as long as it has been available, but since this year I have often had milk that was sour when I bought it fresh, or milk that turned sour two days after I bought it. And that BEFORE the expiry date. Last year I was able to drink it one or two days after the expiry date without any problems. But now it's already sour before that, I'd like to know why that is.
Dear guest
Thank you very much for your contribution.
We are sorry that your Züribieter whole milk was sour before the best-before date. This is annoying, especially if it happens more than once. However, in order for us to investigate this matter, we need the M-Data (date of sale and/or consumption) and the batch or lot number of the milk. Do you still have any packaging at home?
We can use this number to check when exactly the affected product was manufactured and whether any errors occurred during production at that time. You will normally find the lot/batch number next to the best-before date, usually starting with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. We ask you to provide us with this number and to refer to the reference number IN_1238094.
Without this number, we unfortunately have little opportunity to make a well-founded statement, thank you for your understanding and look forward to your feedback.
Happy Easter and see you soon in your Migros!
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Hello m-infoline
I have the same problem. Yesterday the milk with the date of 30.3. was already sour. This was not the first time...
The following information is on the carton:
for sale by 28.03c
to be used by 30.03.13
However, I have not found a batch number. The expiration date is stuck on the lid. Nothing else is written on it...
Thanks for any further help!

I have just bought the 0.5L pack and was looking forward to my milk with chocolate, but the milk smells extremely like plastic. Really disgusting. Wouldn't a tetra pack be better?
Hello guest
We are very sorry that the Züribieter whole milk did not taste good. We will get in touch with the supplier and discuss the report, but basically it should be said that the plastic does not "smell". The taste comes from pasteurization or the type of milk. Don't forget the cold chain, which must be maintained.
Please return the rejected pack to the Migros sales outlet. The amount paid will be refunded so that we can investigate the matter. Depending on the situation, the products will be tested in the laboratory.
Best regards
