Do these igniters contain sulphur in the ignition head?
Hello Kritischgeniesser, thank you for your inquiry. These matches do not contain sulphur in the ignition head. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Good day
I use at least two 47 mm tinder sticks (made in China) every day. For some time now it has been happening again and again that they are difficult to light and/or ignite with a delay, which can be dangerous. It happens time and again that I want to light the match again and at that moment it ignites on the matchbox. - It didn't used to be like that. - Maybe it only happens to me....? - This is just a hint.
Thank you for your understanding and have a good day!
Kind regards Eva Käser.
Hello guest
Thank you for your valuable contribution.
We are aware of your description. We have found that in some batches a small number of matches do not comply with EN standard 1783. The ignition heads of this batch were processed manually instead of by machine. This resulted in poor porosity of the ignition heads.
In the meantime we have changed our producer and the matches with the better quality are now available under article number 7076.079-082.
We apologize that you have had a bad experience with our matches and hope that we can convince you of the new quality.
See you soon in your Migros.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Since the switch to Chinese production (around the end of 2012), the quality has declined rapidly.
The old ones (made in Sweden) with brown heads were consistently high quality.
The new ones (Made in China) with red heads are lousy. Either they ignite extremely quickly and are brittle (2x already burns due to pecking away ignited heads), or they hardly ignite, you need 3 matches until it works (head grinded away without igniting).
I hope you get this under control and watch the quality control fingers of the Chinese, or you award the contract to the Swedes again, because they can do it (if they still exist?).
Hello arminm
Thank you very much for your valuable comment.
We discovered in February/March 2012 that there were quality deviations in a few batches: After more detailed clarifications with our supplier, it was subsequently confirmed to us that a small batch did not comply with EN standard 1783. The ignition heads were exceptionally processed manually instead of by machine. This led to poor porosity of the ignition heads. The consequence of this is that the ignition heads either burn too quickly or, in very rare cases, the ignition heads break off or peck away under high pressure.
Our producer has already been able to implement initial measures. However, we have noticed that the quality of some matches is still poor. For this reason, we have closed our warehouse and will purchase the matches from our original partner again. The matches (new article number 7076.079) are now available again in all stores.
We apologize for the poor quality. We hope to continue to welcome you in your Migros.

Thank you very much for the quick and competent answer.
I will make sure to get Swedish ones next time I buy.
