After changing the batteries and the bottle, it flashes continuously. Previously at longer intervals. And when I switch it off and on again, it sprays several times in succession and then not at all. What does this mean?

The function is great and the design is also ok. But the annoying flashing that indicates that the atomizer is active is impossible. That's why it can only be used in the cellar. Certainly not in the living area. The original Air Wick product has managed for years without flashing.
