Summarized ...

«Customers appreciate the durability and expandability of the WASA shelving system, with some having used it for many years. They also value its sustainable, FSC-certified wood source. However, some customers were disappointed with the assembly process, specifically the lack of pre-glued parts and sawdust in the holes.»

Can also be bought after X years, great!

My favorite frame in all situations, in short... or long

I have been buying and living with Ikea IVAR shelving systems for 35 years. These are much more stable, well thought out, slightly cheaper and more available than the WASA shelving system. Nevertheless, I have now opted for WASA, as I am no longer prepared to buy wooden furniture from dark sources like the IKEA IVAR, whose wood comes at best from Belarus and co, where zero consideration is given to sustainable forestry. The wood for the WASA system is stated as FSC certified and from Swiss production (although this is not listed on the purchase receipts, which it should be...).

I've had the shelving system for many years and this time I just bought an extension. Easy to assemble shelves with which you can build entire libraries. Always happy to return!

A disappointment, the first time since we started buying WASA shelves. The frame parts were only plugged in, not glued and just happened not to fall apart in the store. We then glued them ourselves, which was child's play, and afterwards they were OK, as they should have been when we bought them.

The four Wasa stand frames supplied were not glued and all the holes were full of sawdust. I glued them myself and knocked out the sawdust. Now the frame is standing.

very well finished! not too smoothly sanded, so the glaze is well absorbed! there is a technical "problem" with the center strut, it does not need holes for the holder, because the center strut fulfills the holding function and it is not possible to put the board in a metal holder.
