«Customers highly praise the product, often describing it as "excellent" and a "pleasure" to consume. However, many express frustration over its limited availability in certain regions and stores. There's also a preference for the non-sliced version over the pre-sliced one.»

Excellent! But it's no longer available in some Lausanne branches. Do you know where to buy it?

Too bad I can no longer find this fine bread in the Migros stores in central Switzerland.

Always a pleasure, highly recommended

Better to buy from the baker

Never seen on sale in Geneva, except for the plastic-wrapped sliced version, which tastes pretty bad. I can only give 3 stars to this whole loaf rye (it's about time) since I've never been able to taste it.

This bread can no longer be found in the Aargau/Zurich area and tasted excellent, was easy to digest and had a long shelf life. Unfortunately, it has disappeared from the shelves

We miss Valais rye very much and it is incomprehensible to us that Migros has removed its best bread from the range.

Rye bread conforms to PDO specifications, but is more expensive than in traditional bakeries. Unfortunately, availability is more than uncertain. What's more, the pre-cut version is often overstocked to the detriment of the whole loaf version, a sign that pre-cutting this bread doesn't appeal to many people. It would be a good idea to take this into account.

Dear Migros I also really miss the Valais rye bread without nuts. Although I have found a bakery in the region whose rye sourdough bread is almost on a par, unfortunately this bakery will soon cease trading due to a lack of successors. At many other bakeries, the bread is unfortunately finer, more homogeneous, in terms of texture, which doesn't sit well in my mouth. Perhaps Migros will reveal the recipe according to which the bread comes out exactly the same as the one that was unfortunately removed from the range a long time ago.
