Is this cream pasteurized? Can I consume it during pregnancy?

Hello Ina-, the lactose-free aha! whole cream is ultra-high temperature (UHT). It can also be consumed by pregnant women without hesitation. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

1. does this product contain alcohol, as a carrier or for example ethanol? (Carrrageenan) is it completely alcohol-free? 2. is it vegetarian? 3. is there any cross-contamination with alcohol or animal ingredients (e.g. animal slaughter fats, rennet)?
Hello Acalyanur, thank you for your inquiry. We can confirm that the product only contains animal ingredients that originally come from milk. The cream is a dairy product consisting of cream (milk fat) and milk protein (lacto-vegetarian). Carrageenan (E 407) is obtained from red algae. It is plant-based and alcohol-free. No rennet is added, but a microbial enzyme (lactase). Furthermore, no alcoholic substances are added. Cross-contamination can be ruled out. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Does this product contain alcohol of any kind? Ethanol or in the carrier substances? The ingredients state E407 carrageenan, which can be dissolved in ethanol. Is this the case with this product? Is it completely alcohol-free?

Hello anonymous5252, we have checked the raw materials. The full cream does not contain alcohol, not even as a carrier. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Is the product also gluten-free?
Thank you for this information. The information that ingredients containing gluten must always be openly declared is valuable, I didn't know that. On the one hand, I was unsettled by the fact that the list of ingredients includes E407, which I can't say off the top of my head whether it contains gluten or not. And I was also a little unsettled by the fact that on the list of all Aha products ( http://aha.migros.ch/aha/dam/jcr:a2f14979-60eb-49c5-8c8d-22d2d1629b82/aha-Flyer_de_p1-2.pdf ), full cream is NOT marked as gluten-free. For people who rarely deal with this topic and are therefore unsure when they have to buy such products, it would certainly be helpful if such lists were filled in consistently - if the gluten-free category is already there, this should also be ticked everywhere where gluten is not present. Incidentally, I received the necessary information at http://www.codecheck.info/ and was able to buy the product with a clear conscience :-)

Hello yeti The aha! Vollrahm does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients and no carry-over is to be expected. If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Therefore: Check the list of ingredients! Also here E410
There is cream WITHOUT these E numbers! Why does an allergy-certified product have to have this in it?
Not compatible with histamine intolerance. A great pity

Hello Nynaeve
Thank you for your message about our aha! Whole Cream.
We have checked the ingredients and could not find any mention of the additive E-410 on the packaging. We would like to check where this packaging with the incorrect information comes from. Can you please send us a photo of this packaging for this purpose? We also need to know the best-before date.
Basically, we can tell you the following about additives in cream products:
The additive E-407 is contained in all conventional and lactose-free cream products. This is carageenan, a plant-based thickening agent that is added to cream to ensure whippability. We are not aware of an alternative cream product that does not contain a thickener.
We wish you a good day while you await your feedback.
Best regards Your M-Infoline Team

I think it's a shame that there is only the aha! Whole cream, are there any plans to include half cream in the range?
Otherwise I think it's great that there are more and more lactose-free products in Migros. Thank you!

I think it would be great if you could also offer a lactose-free semi-cream. Otherwise I always have to buy it in the Coop :-/

Great cream, but will there ever be lactose-free half cream?
Hello Mimmi
Due to insufficient demand, an aha! half cream is not planned at the moment. However, we have taken your input on board and the specialist department will incorporate it into the next product range revision.
Best regards from the M-Infoline team

Lactose-free half cream is now available in the Coop...

but apparently only in the big stores, the one around the corner from us doesn't have one, and I don't drive into town for it...

too little demand for lactose-free semi-skimmed cream? who did you ask? ....
I found the half-cream lactose-free in the Coop store around the corner, and it didn't look to me as if there was less demand for it than for the full cream, the stall was definitely emptier with the half-cream than with the full cream.
And the guest is right, who was asked? Nobody has asked me for sure...
