1 question
The "Vitamin Well" range does not comply with the vitamin and mineral levels shown on the label. It's dishonest and shameful to sell such a non-compliant product. Or how to rip off customers with products that don't conform to what they claim. As a retailer, you must ensure the quality of your products so as not to harm your customers.
I have taken my sources from the FRC magazine - Mieux choisir, No. 154, July-August 2024 - which carried out a serious laboratory study to compare the vitamin and mineral content of 12 commercially available vitamin waters. To see the results of this study (in French), click on "EAU VITAMINÉE : SOUVENT UN ENERGY DRINK DÉGUISÉ".
Hello Aretha_Viterie, thank you very much for your message. We haven't forgotten you! Our specialized department is currently investigating. We'll get back to you as soon as we hear from them. In the meantime, we hope you'll bear with us a little longer. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team
Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. But I don't see what would take so much time (I've provided you with a serious source) because there's no good answer to this problem since (since you're not the manufacturer) you can't change the composition of products that don't comply with the Federal Law on Foodstuffs and Everyday Objects (LDAl) and the Ordinance on Foodstuffs and Everyday Objects (ODAlOUs).
So I don't expect a specific response from you - and even less for Migros to think up a communications strategy to get out of the way - but a commitment, with actions, to bring your products still on sale into compliance and no longer harm consumers. So, apart from withdrawing the products from the sales catalog (until the manufacturer complies) or demanding new labelling from the supplier, there's nothing more you can do.
Thank you, and have a good Monday.
Hello Aretha_Viterie, thank you very much for your message and the photo you attached. In view of your description, we understand perfectly why the study aroused your distrust. At the same time, we appreciate that you have drawn our attention to this report. It allows us to address your concerns in detail. It has taken some time to clarify these with the relevant specialist department. We apologize for the delay. Our conclusion: we are sceptical about the methods, the comparisons and the points system. After all, we regularly send our products for analysis, and this year we found no anomalies in the ingredient content of Vitamin Well products. We also find it strange to compare sugar-free products with sugar-containing products, and caffeine-free products with caffeine-containing products. We consider that the results presented are due to the use of an outdated or poorly stored product. We hope you find these few lines useful. Sincerely, your M-Infoline team
