Why is 5dl UHT milk not available with a screw cap?
Hello chiggiM, thank you for your question. It requires less packaging material than a screw cap. Which is of course also a cost aspect, because more material also costs more. We also produce the Valflora Drink on a production line that does not have a closure option. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why does UHT milk turn sour after a few days?
Hello rA1533Mon, thank you for your message about the milk, we understand your disappointment. We would like to make further inquiries for you. We would therefore ask you to provide us with the following information about the milk: - The best-before date - The batch or lot number You will generally find the lot/batch number next to the best-before date; it usually starts with the letter L or a mixture of letters and numbers. With the help of this information, we can determine the time of production and find out whether any errors occurred at that time. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why are the 0.5 liters not available in action, e.g. 10 x 0.5 action.
Hello Suzu1963. In the past, we have offered various milk products in 12-packs as a special offer. Demand was moderate in each case. We are therefore not offering them at the moment. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

I would like to know whether this milk comes from cows that are fed palm oil-containing feed. Unfortunately, I can't get this information anywhere. I ask for full transparency! Thank you very much.
Hello user, we apologize for keeping you waiting. Your question required some clarification and it took us a while to get everything together. The fact is that Swiss dairy cows are no longer fed palm oil. This means that there is no trace of it in this milk either. After the issue of palm oil in animal feed became public in the summer, the Swiss Farmers' Union (SBV) and the Swiss Milk Producers (SMP) reacted quickly and decided to ban palm oil from dairy cattle feed. In January, the Swiss Milk Producers' Organization (SMP) announced that it had removed all palm oil from its animal feed production and switched to domestic rapeseed oil. Here is the press release if you are interested: https://www.swissmilk.ch/de/produzenten/medien/medienmitteilungen/2018/palmoel-fett-in-der-schweizer-milchproduktion-ist-geschichte/. I am annoyed every day by your milk cartons, which for some time now have only been fitted with plastic twist-off caps. I have never yet managed to open one without spilling milk. Is this one of your methods of eliminating the milk glut, and how much does the oil industry pay you to use these plastic caps? Incidentally, the packets have also become taller (i.e. bulkier) this way and take up more space in the fridge. In my opinion: A beer idea that should be abolished!!!

Hi guest
Thank you for your comment - your opinion is important to us.
We are sorry that you are not satisfied with the new closure of the milk carton. We can well understand your anger. We are aware that the new packaging may mean that our customers have to get used to it at first. The spout has been tested and designed so that the milk can be poured easily and without dripping. The new UHT milk packaging Slim with screw cap meets the need for simple, safe and convenient use.
Packaging such as that used for Valflora milk is sold worldwide and has been tested several times. No packaging reaches the Migros store without being thoroughly tested for quality assurance.
However, our specialist department has been informed about your tip. We thank you very much for this and hope for your understanding.
Kind regards from the M-Infoline team
