Normally I am always very happy with UHT milk. However, there seems to be something wrong with this / my batch. Best before: 20.04.2024 / F01:06 R201 L130486 It smells very unpleasant / spoiled when opened. (This is now the third pack, all the same) But the milk itself seems to be OK. Have you received similar reports?
Hello ohnisenf, thank you for your inquiry. We checked the production reports, the laboratory results and our retained samples. However, we were unable to find any deviations or indications of faults during production. We opened the retained samples and stored them in the refrigerator for two days, carrying out daily checks on taste, smell and appearance. Again, we found no deviations. The packaging used is made from an odorless and tasteless material that cannot negatively affect the taste of the product. We assume that the packs were damaged during the logistics process. This can result in microscopic hairline cracks, which will remove the protective effect of the packaging and spoil the milk. We apologize for the inconvenience. I have had exactly the same problem for some time now. It's not the milk that stinks, but the packaging.
