I am very satisfied with this product and like it very much. however, I noticed that a certain lid has been missing recently and I wanted to know why it is no longer included. I was able to save 2 because they are just practical. on the one hand as protection because it already happened that during transport the aluminum lid was torn open during transport to me and a cup had stuck in the other cup because the protection was missing and on the other hand the transparent lid is also useful if you don't need the whole cup right away so that you could close it well. But don't tell me again that Migros is trying to save plastic because I already know the excuse. if that were the case, I wouldn't keep getting unnecessary plastic stuff like bags or more plastic packaging than food. Where it is useful, it is removed, but where it is superfluous, it is left or more packaging is added and less is put in, as with chicken nuggets, for example. there were always 12 pieces in there and now there are 10 pieces but the packaging remains the same size. I would be happy and very grateful if the lid was included again. it would be better to deliver it and charge 10 rappen more than to leave it out and have to pay for the damage almost every time because the money I have already had to get back for damage to the cups was considerably more than the 10 rappen that I would have to pay to have the lid included again.
i've read about the silicone lid, but it doesn't help for transportation, like with migros online. it might work for home use, but the cups get damaged during transportation.
Kind regards

Hello ghostvampira, thank you very much for your message and the photo. We are pleased that you are generally satisfied with our product and that you really appreciate it 😊. At the same time, we understand your disappointment about the missing plastic lid and the associated challenges - especially during transportation.
We have removed the PET lid as the current market is increasingly focusing on packaging reduction and reusable solutions. The aluminum lid is recyclable, while the PET lid had to be disposed of in household waste. Migros always strives to avoid unnecessary material and to use a minimum of different packaging variants.
We were aware that the changeover could make storage at home more cumbersome. That's why we developed the silicone lid, which can be used flexibly. However, we understand that this solution may not be ideal for transportation. We have of course forwarded your comments to the relevant specialist department so that they can examine the issue and make any necessary improvements.
There are currently no plans to re-fit the dairy products that have already been changed with PET lids. We are sorry that this change has disappointed you ☹.
Regarding the chicken nuggets, we are not quite sure which item you are referring to. To follow up on your report, it would be helpful if you could provide us with the item number, best-before date and batch/lot number. This will enable us to carry out further checks - it may be a case of a selective deviation. You are welcome to send us this information via the contact form or directly on the Migipedia product page for chicken nuggets. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much for the quick reply. I had read about the silicone lid. in my case, that would only help at home but not during transportation. migros would have to supply the lid and I don't think migros would do that. I mean if the aluminum lid gets damaged again and again during transport because the aluminum lid is not the most stable then it is easy to damage and the PET lid has just prevented that so on the one hand you have protected the aluminum lid and as a side effect you could stack it in the fridge much better without being afraid that the lid will be damaged.
The problem is that if you save on this, you're unfortunately saving in the wrong place in my opinion, because what's the point if Migros saves on it but then has to keep replacing the product for the customer or give the money back, plus you also have more and more food waste where Migros supposedly pays attention to it. Saving in the wrong place only produces more food waste and in my opinion that is simply the wrong way to go.
In the case of chicken nuggets, it was long as described that there were 12 pieces in the packaging and suddenly there were only 10 and that's been the case for a while but the packaging hasn't really changed. They just laid the nuggets flat to make it less noticeable because before they were slightly overlapping in the packaging.
At first I thought ok maybe it's just this one pack where there are fewer in it but I've bought them again and again and it's stayed that way until today so I assume that 2 pieces have simply been removed.
You can see which ones it is in the picture I am sending you.
Kind regards
ghostvampira
Hello ghostvampira, thank you for your further feedback and the picture you sent us. We can reassure you about the chicken nuggets: The content of the packaging has not been reduced, it still contains 250 g. The number of nuggets can vary between 10 and 15, depending on the batch and size of the individual nuggets. We have therefore not adjusted the size of the packaging as it still holds the same contents. However, we understand that the change in the presentation of the nuggets can cause confusion. We have passed on your feedback to the specialist department. Thank you for drawing our attention to these points. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Valflora Crème Fraîche Nature I have already received various "likes" but no answer from Migros to the question: When will there be a real closable lid again????
It stays that way... as soon as a product is open, it should be used up after a maximum of 3 days. Whether that's with a lid or with foil... in Germany, many dairy products have been covered with foil for ages, and here people get upset...
I wasn't asking about the shelf life but about a resealable lid. I'm not the only one who is upset and besides, we are here in Switzerland and not in Germany, where everything is cheaper anyway!!! Incidentally, my question is directed at Migros-Infoline!
The infoline has said in several posts that it will stay that way. If you want a lid, you can use these silicone lids. And no, not everything is cheaper in Germany. In addition, the country is also 10 times larger, which is noticeable in the production volume... Other countries have had these lids for quite a long time, and nobody has starved to death or anything else because of these lids. If Migros or other retailers do nothing for the environment, it's not good either. If they do something, it's not good for the people either... The retailers are really at an impasse, in some cases Coop also has these lids... btw
Hello Schluepgertrud, we offer our silicone lid. No further customization is currently planned. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello, which rennet is used here? Is it microbial? So vegetarian?
Hello SumitK, thank you for your question. We do not use rennet in this product. The product consists of milk fat and is obtained from milk. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Why don't you offer this crème fraîche in a smaller size? Then you could use it all and the lid problem would be solved.
Hello Tulip Woman, unfortunately the demand for smaller sizes is currently too low. Nevertheless, we will take your input on board. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

This aluminum lid is so stupid. How am I supposed to keep the rest of the contents fresh? There must have been desk criminals at work.
I'm annoyed about the new aluminum lid. Before, the cup was easy to close. Today I bought the silicone Flexi lids. They don't hold at all. Neither on the cup nor on the jar! Now I'm just frustrated. If you were to add a reusable lid (like the laundry ball), I would be fine with the change. But without a proper lid, there is simply a lot more food waste. That's a shame. As far as I'm concerned, plastic could be reduced in the fruit and vegetable section.
Hello Curl, thank you for your message. We're sorry to hear that the lid is causing frustration. We understand that unsuccessful attempts at fitting can be frustrating. We are always open to suggestions for improvement. That's why we're looking into your request for a solid material. We will not let the opportunity pass us by. We will be happy to provide you with instructions in the form of photos. We hope the photos will provide clarity. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
Thank you very much for your answer and for testing a solid reusable lid! Unfortunately, Migros Volketswil does not have the cover foils you described. Or I haven't found them. I bought the silicone Flexi lids from Tangan. I was also expecting lids and not just thin foils that are useless and don't hold at all. I only saw afterwards that customers have been reporting for two years that the product is unusable and should please be removed from the range. I will be returning the product. 15 francs for unusable silicone films is not right.
Hello Curl, the article "Tangan N°29" is intended for glass and ceramic bowls. They are rather unsuitable for plastic yoghurt pots. We will contact you again privately. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
my words exactly! the ¨Bio¨ vegetables are sealed in plastic !!! ...the saleswoman said that in order to save plastic, the lid of the SourCream (not resealable!) is now made of ALUMINIUM! We learned back in the 70s that aluminum is extremely energy-intensive to produce, hence all the yogurts WITHOUT aluminum. Please go back to the books. ASAP
Migros Kloten doesn't have the covers either. And we have now also bought the tagan, oh I'm annoyed now that I didn't read this beforehand. The staff we asked were unable to advise us. Now we've also spent 15 Swiss francs for nothing.

Why is the cup no longer fitted with a lockable lid?
Hello Flint4, thank you for the question. We made a change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The PET lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in household waste. We have been offering the silicone lid(https://www.migros.ch/en/product/704527600000) for some time now, which can be used flexibly. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
If this is to be the alternative.... I use a drying rack for silicone covers.........so laborious and after two or three times they end up in the bin......
Hello Flint4, the silicone lid can be used indefinitely. It can also be washed, even in the dishwasher. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
But dear Migros, you have the plastic collection bag, so the lid also goes into the circular economy... and do you really believe that the aluminum lid goes into recycling and doesn't end up in the garbage? I would say that more than 90% dispose of the aluminum lid in the garbage, as it is full of cream or yogurt...
Perhaps the customers should have been asked beforehand how they handle this. It's both customer-unfriendly and environmentally unfriendly. The lid is disposed of in the cow bag, as is the cup, and rinsing is done in one go. The lid makes the cream resealable, but not the aluminium foil, which is also an absolute pain to rinse off - if it doesn't tear when you open it and therefore ends up straight in the bin. This is really ill-conceived and nonsensical in every respect.

😑 Why is the large pack no longer available here? I'm usually really a budget fan but the creme fraiche is not the same... a real shame!
Hello Perlensinne, that's right, we no longer offer the large Valflora Crème Fraîche in this version. But we have transferred it to the M-Budget brand without changing the recipe. It's a shame that you no longer like it. Best regards, your M-Infoline team

Hello to the migipedia team I love this crème fraîche, but have to do without it from time to time because of the fat content. Can't you make a Legere version?;) In Germany there is a good one from Dr. Oetker, but unfortunately I can't find anything comparable here in Switzerland... Best regards :)
Hello KillerCookie, thank you for your input. We do not currently offer a lighter version than Valflora Crème Fraîche Nature. We have put your request to the product managers - they will consider it when they next revise the range. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
